Fancy little cafe on Sunset Blvd. Minimalist vibes, seating is a bit uncomfortable (wooden benches and stools). A clean establishment and friendly staff. We ordered an Iced Madagascar Vanilla Bean coffee, Lychee-Peachy iced tea (ordered it lightly sweetened- yet still way too sweet.. I added water to it) and a cafe americano, delish. Also ordered a Vegetarian hand pie-not super flavorful. They delivered our order to the table which was a nice surprise. A chill place to read, or work. Seemed like the trendy spot to go despite being a bit over-priced.
Baristas are very nice, my favorite quality in an elite coffeeshop. I asked for washed espresso, after which I was offered espresso from 2 different parts of Africa - I went with a bean from Burundi.Although my espresso shot was slightly overpulled, the baristas here are good stewards of the coffee they're selling. If I were a coffee farmer, I'd want my beans sold here. And they have outlets, which is quite rare for a LA coffeeshop.
Came here with my two daughters. We each ordered a different drink. I took a sip of all of them and quite honestly they were all delicious! Had to order another one to go!
I absolutely love Stereoscope Coffee! The worker was very friendly and helpful. She answered all of my questions regarding the espresso beans, etc. She was also taking orders, making drinks all by herself and did a wonderful job managing that. I took a slight stroll outside while waiting for my drink and she was kind enough to bring the drink out to me.
Excellent coffee! The vanilla latte (made from whole vanilla bean) is delicious, 10/10 recommend. The teas are great as well. They have wifi and outlets, which is a MAJOR plus in addition to being open later than your typical coffee shop (7pm). I only wish it were a larger space, as it can get quite packed. This place is sure to be a popular study and work spot.My only suggestion to the owners is to add a water station. The busy baristas serve drinks to the tables, so the end of the bar or in the back of the cafe would probably work. I was also a little taken aback that they do not offer low/no fat milk. It’s not a big deal at all, but if I can avoid the extra calories, I love the option.Hopefully one day I will make it early so I can try their pastries. Unless, of course, they plan to deliver more in the later afternoon ;)
Quality coffee and tea options & a cute interior with adequate seating space to grab coffee with a friend or knock out some work. Been here a couple of times and have been met with super friendly staff each time.
off menu strawberry milk + matcha is the best thing ever. their chai is also phenomenal, and check out their guava cream cheese croissant ? I’m not a coffee drinker so I haven’t tried their coffee, but I can vouch for their non-coffee drinks, and the people are always very nice and considerate!
Found this hidden gem by accident but it brightened up our day! Absolutely delicious coffee (10/10) and the morning bun (11/10) was the best I've ever had. Loved the coffee & food, nice & friendly staff, gorgeous coffee equipment and interior.
This is peak coffee. Everything is made with care and in the manner they're supposed to be made, so anticipate things taking a bit longer than your favorite burnt coffee chain. Slower is better here. The baristas are friendly, knowledgeable, and will walk you through any questions. They make an extra effort to check in afterwards to make sure you're happy. Even when they're slammed. They are super COVID safe and are the few places really making the effort to keep their workers safe.Minimalist on the inside, with odd, slightly uncomfortable seating. If you want a comfortable place to work and loiter, this may not be the spot. And there is nothing wrong with that. This is where you go for a great coffee experience, everything else is dependent on your needs.
Pulled an amazing shot of espresso. New favorite spot in the area !
