Where do I start???? I waited outside for an hour before the club opened their doors. The bouncer said since I arrived late I had to pay $40. How am I late?!?!? You opened an hour late. I should get in free. This place is a sad excuse for “class” is it $40 to get in or $20??? Be specific. Your dress code is ridiculous. You can come in looking amazing but if you have on an opened toed heel you can’t get in? Wow. But if you’re wearing vans that okay? My friend was wearing a designer du-rag and was rejected access to enter the club. We tried reasoning with the people at the door and they began insulting my friend and using anti-black dialogue. I can’t believe what I heard. They sounded like Monique saying that wearing a designer du-rag is the equivalent to wearing a BONNET??? People perform at award shows wearing du-rags. Are you kidding me. The staff was rude, insulting, and cruel. Don’t visit this establishment unless you want to be insulted. Horrible!!
Had people waiting for over an hour and those who prepaid were not even allowed in. They rudely shut the door on the peoples faces that were waiting since 12am. Security stated it was full and will still take people that will pay $100 to come in. Small space with okay music.
This place has good music and a great vibe! I’m writing this on my third visit; yes, it will cost you to get in and it will cost you to get drinks, but good things don’t come free!They do open their doors later than the time mentioned on the flyer, but the wait is worth it!There was some confusion about the tickets I purchased online, but the staff was polite and quick to resolve the issue. We do make minor errors as we are all human, but I have always been treated with respect and that’s what really counts! Would definitely recommend this place.
After telling us our dress code wasn’t correct. We fixed it and then came back to only tell us it was a $40 cover charge per person.. I can see why there’s a ton of negative reviews.
Absolute disaster. $40 cover at the door, plus they want you to spend a GRAND? I guess they forgot this is a dive bar. Sheisty promoter, inexperienced door, and useless sound system. Anywhere is better than here. Just don’t.
It's an okay experience yet still quite expensive for a little place with no dance floor space $40 at the door to get in. $150 for hookah from a girl that's a vendor at the little place. $20 & up per drink (Adios, Jack & Coke) More spacious outside but no music just smoking and chill area. Still a good crowd for a Tuesday. Bartender and security inside and outside the club were cool really hospitable.
Favorite club in hollywood! Went last night for clinic Wednesdays, so much fun. The atmosphere and vibe is always amazing, can't recommend this place enough. Each night of the week is a different theme, great for everyone. The food for Saturday brunches are amazing, the chef is top notch. Must go to place for a fun night out!
I love the venue but Clinic Wednesdays has this really annoying bongo guy that just kills the vibe because he's the worst bongo player I've ever heard. If you can even call him a bongo player at all, more like sad old man-child banging on some mid life crisis purchase.Update: The owner said no more bongo guy! Really impressed with their response. Station1640, specifically Clinic Wednesdays, is a chill underground vibe with an eclectic crowd. The staff at Station1640 is welcoming and the venue itself is an intimate space with a great sound system. I recommend Clinic if you're into deeper and more underground house and techno.
I was there on 11.13.2021 with my friends at the Bollywood party, and one of my friend left my car keys at the front desk with a lady name Brenda Gonzalez, as the key was not handed to me but instead she took the keys with her when we came back to the front door of the club they just answered in a rude way saying we don’t know that girl she only worked for that event, how do keep a person at work with no contact information. It would be kindly appreciated if you contact that person and try to get my keys. I am stilling waiting on my keys.
Had an excellent time! Good drinks, music was on point. Pretty awesome vibe there. Will definitely be stopping by again.
