Decent Carolina style bbq love the decor and overall ambiance of the restaurant. The meat is good but needs a bit more flavor . Still worth a try and they have lots of interesting beers on tap. Definitely stop by the service is great.

Amazing service from the guy who was working morning shift on Sunday! He hooked us up with fries which was the highlight of our experience at this local bbq spot. The quality of meat was mouthwatering to handle since I haven’t had bbq for a long time. Their bbq sauce which is off to the side is tangy and adds extra juice to the texture of meat, especially the spicy bbq! If you’re looking for a kickback smokehouse that’s not in a busy area this is one of your choices. There’s meter parking down the block and a parking lot that charges you $4 all day.

Excellent barbecue food; brisket so tender, pulled pork, beef ribs just to name a few. Nice selection of cold beer. Food served is quick. Staff was warm and welcoming, spent time chatting with the customers. We wanted to watch the hockey playoffs and they were more than accommodating. I’d recommend this joint to anyone travelling to LA.

When I travel by train to Los Angeles, this is one place I like to eat. It's just a short walk from Los Angeles Union Station. They have a pretty decent menu and the service has always been good.

We have walked by this smokehouse many times and always enjoyed the smells coming from inside. Finally those smells got the best of us today and we gave it a shot. The service was good, the atmosphere welcoming and exactly right for some good BBQ. Most importantly the food lived up to the smell! Delicious we enjoyed it all from the meats to the pickles. If I had to find a criticism it would be that I personally like a little thicker sauce but hey, that's a personal preference not a problem. Besides the sauce was very tasty just the way it is.Thank you Spring Street. We will be back!Oh and the location is absolutely perfect for a pre Dodger game feast.

The restaurant is cool. Staff is friendly. Food is so, so. I had a two meat platter: Brisket and Pork Ribs with Baked Beans and Mac and Cheese. Another two meat platter: Burnt Ends and Pulled Pork with Chili Beans and Corn Bread. The meats were were not tender or moist. All of them were on the dry side. If it wasn't for the sauce which has a great taste, the meats would not be very good.Bothe Baked Beans and Chili Beans were the best parts of our meals. They both had a spicy kick to them. The Mac and Cheese was decent, but the Mac was a little over cooked. Corn Bread was moist and had a nice Honey Butter.

The pandemic gives me pause in writing restaurant reviews because they are already suffering but this place missed the mark. I ordered from Uber Eats as this place has been bookmarked forever and I got the burnt ends, brisket, mac & cheese with coleslaw.Pro-tip: get your sauce on the side and taste it first. The sauce was thin and tasted strongly of cloves. Like a strange chai tea bbq sauce. I would love it if they tried their hand at making another sauce for a LTO and check customer feedback. It may help things. The meat itself was tender thankfully since I could cut through it with the plastic utensils. The cole slaw was unique. While creamy, it was closer to savory than what most of us are used to. Didn't love it or hate it, I'll be using it on a spicy sausage I have in the fridge tomorrow. The macaroni and cheese was good was also creamy and had a couple of cheese pulls on a few of the bites. The two slices of white bread was a cute touch and the Hank's vanilla cream soda is always a winner.

Stumbled upon this place on accident. Fortunately it was a fantastic experience. Plenty of outdoor tables with heat lamps and outdoor music too. Foodwise: big portions! I ordered the chicken wings comes in 3 pieces which are grilled and supervised. I would definitely recommend this place.

Had a great time. Food was delicious.

Tasty food, great service, a variety of hops on tap.
