The "Filipino" food here comes with a twist that is not quite Filipino but adds a lot of great flavor to some Filipino favorites. The patita is their version of crispy pata but with a sauce that has a delicious kick to it! That dish is pricey but worth trying. Other dishes are reasonably priced and I look forward to coming back to try them. They also have some interesting drinks. Unfortunately, I was told they don't serve ice for some reason, at least when i was there. Service was good.
First time here and had a delicious lunch! The pork belly adobo nigiri was one of our favorites. Friendly and quick service. Will definitely come back!
Incredible Filipino restaurant! Highly recommend the mushroom appetizer & both beef entrées ✨Lovely staff & good energy inside as well.
Food was great, and staff were nice. The restaurant kept playing the same 5 Post Malone songs, which got a little annoying however.
So good! I suggest getting a couple of dishes to share. We got 2 entrees and 2 appetizers between the 3 of us to get a variety. The patita was popular and delicious. I loved the mushroom appetizer.
I can't believe it took me so long to dine here. Made it just after opening and was able to enjoy a great lunch on the patio. Quick service, good sized portions, and delicious food. I will definitely visit for dinner soon.
Loved loved LOVED this place! The flavors were rich and traditional Filipino but every dish had an elevated, fusion-flare. The sauce on the Shrooms was TO DIE FOR (I tried to take some home for later). The pork belly adobo was crispy and the fat melted on your tongue. Our server was kind, attentive, and helped recommend some good dishes. They are not serving alcohol yet at the time of this review, but are in the middle of obtaining the license. I definitely will come back to this new spot, such a great new spot on Sawtelle Blvd!!
Wow! First time going and we have to say it was a really nice and tasty experience. We definitely had the WOW factor. As a Filipino American I'm so happy to see my food well represented and I'm thrilled that Spoon & Pork did just that with a few twists and flare but at the same time kept it as authentic as much as possible. Salamat sa iyong mabuting pakikitungo.
I ordered the grilled chicken last night..it was not only grilled, it's burned!!! It was like eating 2 pcs of charcoal ?
Call me a lil piggy and stuff my face with Spoon & Pork Filipino comfort food. 5 stars: adobo pork belly, lechon kawali, patatas. The cutest decor. The absolute best people. Chef brought around some crispy-creamy ube and mango sylvanas that they are going to start serving… *chef’s kiss*
