4.5 Real Score! First time going to the spot and I may raise the score to five stars based on what I have the next time. Actually, this place is pretty excellent and I was on the border of giving five stars but ended up with 4.5 because I just thought the lamb was too dry on my bowl. Otherwise, the ingredients were fresh, crisp, and flavorful. The dressing for my salad was flavorful mixed in with some extra tabouli and bam, healthy yet delicious.
Cool spot with a nice ambience. Eating outside has a communal, picnic-y feel to it. The food was great and they have a nice selection of beer available, too. The one negative about the place is the extremely limited parking. I think there are four parking spots (1 handicapped) in a narrow driveway that is shared with the neighboring residences. I'd advise you to just park on Colorado and hoof it over.
I had a vegan Falafel wrap with sweet potatoes it's was one of the best I ever had...so tasty and fresh . Not crowded at all sitting was outdoors under the canopy. I would definitely go back!
Mixed meat plate. Where is the meat? Just a bed of fries for $15. What a rip.
Been going here for years. Quite literally one of my favorite places of it's genre (Mediterranean food?) It is very good and there are many options, the place has gone a large overhaul on these recent years, making the whole building more attractive. Still, great food nonetheless.
Basic combo runs you about $18-$20. Prices are higher than McDonald's but remember these prices may be influenced by the meat sources. Arabic meats must be specially sourced and blessed by priest. The Muslim Quran prohibits antibiotics etc. My sister works at similar restaurant and that's what she's told me. Might explain price.
Good, kinda hipster Gyro place. The food is tasty and they have some good variations on typical Mediterranean food. If you want a totally traditional experience, you might look elsewhere (like Minikabob in Glendale).
We want to support these guys but every order we make is wrong. We’ve asked every time for no olives and when we get home, olives. And we pay extra for sweet potato fries and there missing. And you can’t get a hold of anyone to resolve it once you get home and see their mistakes. Very sad. We’ve been going to them for years but the Eagle Rock location has been a disappointment.
Spitz Eagle rock is great ! It’s one of the few places where the vegan food is actually delicious and filling! The workers are super cool , great vibes . And the fries are bomb.com !
Listen the Street Cart Doner wrap was absolutely delicious, but I was genuinely expecting a wrap with a lot more heft for a $13 price-point. Was very disappointed with how much food I got for that much money, but if you shaved that down to like $8, or even a flat $10, i'd be a lot more forgiving.\\n\\nI'll tell you though, the flavors are really stellar, ESPECIALLY if you have some of that Zesty Feta sauce, WOW! It's damn good, (but still too pricey).
