This place is the best Philly cheesesteak spot in Los Angeles. I know sometimes you wanna order us food and have it brought to us but this place is so good it’s worth getting up and getting it fresh!!!!
This place has the BEST I MEAN ABSOLUTE BEST Cheesesteak I have ever had!!!!! The bread is from Philly!!! The owners are super nice and friendly! This small place is jam packed full of flavors!! WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK
There are no words to describe how WONDERFUL the food is at this place. The cheesesteaks and the hoagies are a cut above! The meats are fresh and full of flavor!The staff is VERY friendly and helpful to make sure you get the best meal! ??
Simply amazing I was born in Philly and this hands down is a taste of home The restaurant immaculately clean service outstanding food is 5 stars her mom and dad were so sweet they gave me cookies and cakes to take home I’m so happy to meet them all congratulations ? can’t wait to go back ?
I'm pretty sure my mouth just punched by Rockie himself. Ordered the Philly cheesesteak with chz wiz (of course), hot peppers and onions. Amazing flavor that'll slap your taste buds and make you crave more. Family who runs it is amazing as well, extremely friendly and professional. Best cheesesteak in LA!P.S. the dads a Rams fan and loves to talk pigskin!
South philly experience just opened in my neighborhood not too long ago and one of the best places in my neighborhood to find a authentic philly cheese steak, Me and my whole family loved it, I will definitely be going back soon

Ok version of a Philly Cheesesteak. Family is all from philly, so in that regards it's authentic. Reason the steak didnt get a high review is the wesk link here is the meat. The roll was soft and perfect, looks and taste like an Amoroso roll, which is great in an authentic Philly cheesesteak....The cheesesteak was cooked perfectly. Not over cooked and dried out which happens at a lot of places in Cali. Cheese ratio was also on point and mixed in which is hughe bc most places don't know that's the secret. Onions were good, soft and flavorful... At the of the day the meat is lacking. No great falvor profile or complexity. The meat taste like a cheaper version of cheesteak meat you would find in lower socioeconomic areas of philly. There was no real flavor or seasoning that could be tasted. Over all its was Ok. I would not recommend this to people looking for a great representation of a Philly cheesesteak but if you are in the area and have a craving this should scratch that itch.
Been in LA for 11 years. We’ve tried all of them jawns out here but this hits the spot. Legit Philly cheesesteaks, roast pork, and they have TAYLOR pork roll. Even grabbed bags of Herr’s chippies. We will DEFINITELY be back and this is now our go-to spot!! Not only is the food ON POINT but the genuine philly /jerz camaraderie is something that we really enjoyed. I think I found my new favorite cheesesteak in LA. Steak was cut perfectly and literally melts in your mouth. The bread was also very fresh and delicious. The portion of meat was far bigger than any Philly cheese steak I've had before. The french fries were pretty good they reminded me of in and outs, kind of weird to serve them in the plastic take out box they got soggy kind of quick.The woman taking the orders was super friendly and helpful, every aspect of their service was excellent.when I say this steak is good I mean it's considerably better than the other steaks I consider good out here like Philly's Best or boo's.
