This place came to the rescue!!! The wedding cake I had made fell over on the long drive. It was a disaster!! Other bakeries near the wedding venue were already closed and others needed at least 48 hour notice… the wedding was happening NOW. I called Sonora Bakery in my final desperate attempt, explained the situation, sent them a picture of the cake and within minutes, they got to work. The cake was delicious and the wedding was saved. Thank you Sonora Bakery…. You have a customer for life!
Had to hit the spot for a good torta de Jamon y pavo Sonora bakery never disappoints this is the big torta I'm guessing they have a regular size also the pastries from here are bomb and well portioned aswell fresh baked bread every day the best spot for your Mexican sweet bread.
The bolillo is great the breads are delicious. They have great attitude towards customers but are very slow to service. This new generation of employees could not be any slower. If you ever saw the movie Zootopia with the sloths at DMV exact same thing. It makes you think more than twice about going because it's a good 30 min wait when there's only 2-3 customers.
This place has little bit of everything. They Mexican bread, cakes, chocoflan, empanadas and sub sandwiches. This place has one of best empanadas in town, you must try them.Some items are pricey and some of them are reasonable price but it's worth it.
Great service, the bolillos are always fresh or sometimes right out the oven,(yummy).and remain fresh for the next day.
We got a bunch of pastries and loved them all. High quality for a great price and lots of selection.They'll ask you to sanitize your hands when you come in and they'll appreciate you wearing a mask. Happy to oblige for such a great product.
Love the variety of sweet bread they carry plus they sell empanadas all great flavor. N the service was fast n attentive. Now my favorite spot 4 sweet bread plus it's close to my house
Come and get my cakes here. This place is awesome. You can show them a picture of whatever you want and they perfect it to a T. And their cakes are sooo good. This is where i will keep coming for any and every time i need a cake. ??
Unless you want hair on your cake with no apologies, full refund nor any fault taken DONT COME HERE!I called the bakery immediately after noticing the hairs inside the cake (no more than 30mins after picking up the cake for my kids birthday) and the lady who picked up the phone immediately blamed me and then blamed the “brush” they use for the icing. When I asked for a refund she insisted on making a new cake which would take sometime, I Insisted on a refund and She demanded that I drop everything I was doing and bring the cake back in.Upon arriving, Noemi and a second lady completely turned on me and made me look like I was in the wrong, continuously chuckled and smiled at the situation and even questioned me on where the rest of the cake was (the cake had already been sliced before we noticed the hairs) she even went as far to say that her bakers are bald and laughed while making a joke about hairs in food.After all this, they only gave me a portion of my refund and asked me to reach out to Dennis if I wanted a full refund. After speaking with Dennis this went nowhere - he promised me a call back after he looked into the situation - it’s been a week now and not even a chirp.Unfortunate situation here as myself and my family all live within the area and this has consistently been our go to bakery.
This would of been one more star but they tried selling me a mask for a dollar but when I politely refused because I explained I don't watch the news she then came back giving me one but I again declined. Never going to understand how press conference became a pandemic.
