Lovely spot for Asian inspired desserts! We got a piece of taiyaki and their Real Strawberry Milk. The taiyaki was filled with ube icecream and I asked for the cereal toppings.Everything was delicious and not too sweet. I highly recommend coming here after dinner or when you have a sweet tooth.
Got the milk soft serve and strawberry milk. Love the soft serve and the warm taiyaki. The strawberry mill can be skipped, slightly flavorless and kinda like 5% strawberry puree and 95% milk.
It's a "cone" in the shape of a fish, with ice cream in it, what's not to love?Tasty, I liked the Ube and Cookies and Cream. Busy location, rightfully so, so be sure to park along the street or side streets and come ready to order! Fast service and tasty treats make this a must off Sawtelle.

The soft serve and waffle fish are fantastic. The waffle fish is made in house and on the spot which helps give it a warm to cold contrast with the soft serve. The reason I am giving this 4 stars is because the price is a bit high and the establishment needs a better system for crowd control. Additionally, I know it’s stressful to work customer service and it is also important to try to build connections and positive moments with all customers.
SomiSomi is outstanding. Everything I've ordered from here has been served quickly and tasted as delicious as it looks. I also appreciate how you can choose toppings such as matcha powder and coconut flakes right before being handed the dessert; it makes the experience feel a lot more customized!
Great spot for a quick, quirky, and delicious dessert! They have classic soft-serve flavors like milk and cookies n’cream, but the ube flavor is a definite must try! Ordering is through a touchscreen device, wherein all the choices are laid out for you, so you get to pick your own winning combo!Street parking may be hard to find at times (especially during the weekends), but it’s well worth it!
I tried only the taiyaki, which are filled fish-shaped waffles and they were nothing short of incredible. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I can't imagine a filled waffle tasting this good! There is usually a line but it does go pretty quickly.
Modern dessert stop with an interesting selection of flavors that rotate out. The combination of taiyaki and soft serve is visually appealing but doesn't really taste special, I think it's better to order the two separately for ease of eating. The taiyaki by itself is really good. Some flavors of the soft serve are nice but most of the flavors I've tried have been too sweet.
Great dessert place! Went here to satisfy my sweet tooth and got the Ahboong with Matcha Soft Serve and Teriyaki with Red Bean filling. So good. You really can’t go wrong with those two flavors together! The soft serve with nice and creamy paired alongside the warm teriyaki fish. I thought that it was the perfect size, though I recommend ordering the one in the cup since it gets messy. Yum!
