Absolutely love the space and vibe here. I came on a weekday and was lucky enough to find free parking, though this can usually be a hassle in the area. They have iced coffee on tap which was absolutely delicious. In my opinion, doesn't need anything though I'm sure the coffee drinks are good as well! Average price-wise and excellent wi-fi connection. The playlist was also on-point for my taste. I would definitely recommend Groundwork as a prospective study spot!
Great coffee, wonderful people and all for a good cause!
I had the most amazing latte and sandwich here for a little brunch kind of meal. The service was super friendly.
Love, Love, Love this place I've tried everything there and it's delicious ? and the customer service is No.1. I really appreciate how the owner greets me everytime he sees me.The other day I saw them give the homeless a meal and this wasn't my 1st time seeing them feed the homeless. What a great establishment and they have good prices.
it’s yummy, but this place is definitely expensive. Especially the sides in the small containers… they give you such a small portion for the price you pay.
This is probably the best coffee shop in LA! Their coffee tastes like a real authentic European coffee, customer service was 10 out of 10! The interior is very small but well designed, bright light with the minimalistic design creates a very unique vibe! If you around Melrose you must try it, I will definitely go back for another cup of flat white.
Such a unique coffee shop and study spot. The entire place is decorated like an old elementary school classroom and has the perfect study vibes. I ordered an oatmilk hojicha latte and it was delicious. Definitely one of the most delicious and unique lattes I have ever had. If you are in the area, I'd recommend stopping by. It is pricier but worth every penny.
What an adorable place! It's a pain to have people studying here, especially on the weekends, because of course you're going to have a big crowd come in on a Saturday morning trying to sit and drink their coffee. Other than that, the ambience is casual and the drinks are wonderful/creative! They are a bit overpriced, extra dollar for dairy free milk, so that was my pain point. But good first experience!
The lattes weren't too expensive and the Mochi donut came out to be around $3.50. The cafe itself isn't that big, but I feel like it still has more seating than their clement st location. Downside is that there's only one bathroom so there could be a line. People are usually here hanging out or on their laptops so it's usually best to come early where parking is more available even though it's metered.
I really enjoy this place. I've worked at home for years, and often use Coffee Connection as an excuse to leave the house! It also helps that the coffee is delicious. I enjoy the variety of options, including Almond milk, Soy, etc. The staff is great and the vibe out in the open air patio is delightful.I also use their meeting space facilities, meeting with a local board game group here once a month or so.
