When I walked in and sat down, everyone greeted me loudly and emphatically! It was rather startling! However, this was the best ramen I've ever had. The delicious complexity of the broth was enough to make me forget everything for just a moment. The noodles (I ordered them extra firm) were fresh and had a lovely texture. When I took a bite of the pork belly it was sweet, a perfect compliment to the salt and umami of the rest of the dish. I loved it even as they yelled at me when I left.

Omg I don't even know where to begin! The service was prompt and courteous. The menu was great! It was a little hard for me to order as they give you a sheet of paper and a menu, and it was my first time. But I circled what I knew I liked and I was ecstatic with the turnout! Will definitely come again when I'm in town. Highly recommend. I got the first ramen with fresh garlic (that I got to press myself, like 10 cloves), fried onions and bean sprouts. I wouldn't change a thing

Vegetarian ramen broth is so rich in taste. The bowl without any add-ons has a lot of vegetables, and can be a meal alone. I did add spinach and the tofu meat substitute and it just elevated my satisfaction. Why fight parking and traffic further down Sawtelle, when you have amazing service and food here

It was ok. The gyoza appetizer was good but not great. The spam musabi was not that good. It seemed like it wasn’t fresh. The Hakata Ramen was decent. The broth was good, the ramen was ok. But the biggest deal breaker was the pork. It was super dry.

Not my favorite Shin den Gumi because of the location. Parking kinda has you stressing if you are there with a big group. Gotta count the minutes if you think it’s been past your meter time. The quality of ramen is still the same however. Very, very good.

If you're in the mood for neighborhood Ramen, this place is wonderful. All of the staff speak Japanese fluently; as far as I know (I've never been to Japan), this place seems very authentic. But it's also delicious.

A very consistent Ramen shop that serves an approachable bowl of Ramen that is easy to understand and customize. One of my favorite regular places to go.

TL;DR: If you're looking for a place to eat vegetarian ramen shop, you've come to the right place.I ordered a Vegetarian Ramen with toppings of: Spicy Miso, Flavored Soft Egg, Spinach, and Firecracker. The real star of the show here was the broth. It was nice and flavorful without being overly salty like a lot of other ramen shops. With the addition of the aforementioned toppings, the ramen was one of the best I've ever had. The price of the vegetarian ramen is modest at $10.50 but keep in mind that each topping is somewhere around the $2 mark so the price can add up if you go crazy with toppings. The last thing to note is that the people working the place are really nice and answer questions about the menu with patience. Also, whenever you enter and whenever you leave they'll greet you and see you off in Japanese. It's a cute little thing they did that I found quite fun.

Love it this ramen n also the beer ?!We can choose the noodles and soups , my trip so wonderful ✨

Spicy Dandan noodles and Pepper chicken. Good food, good service.
