Delicious savory treats and coffee- good place to drop your laptop and work for a few hours.Dog friendly to boot!
my man and i have been going here forever now this place is so good. the quality of food and service is unmatched, wanna shout out this gem! Jose is literally the best he’s always taking care of us and makes us want to come back here!
i stopped here for some coffee and oatmeal before a job interview. i got immediate offers and i think it was partly bc of the amazing cappuccino. so make sure to stop by for some caffeine before any big changes in your life!!
Loved the coffee, the little corner breakfast place vibe. My husband loved the savory waffle. I think mine was a little too heavy and hard on my braces.
Custom Waffles and excellent fresh coffee!
Top notch. Sweet or Savory you will be in heaven.
The staff was super friendly. We had the waffle grilled cheese sandwich and the tomato soup. It was delicious.
Don't go here if you're looking for a family Saturday morning breakfast. The servers are very kind, but the food is not worth the amount being charged. Agree with another commenter re: flavorless eggs and sausage. They don't serve bacon, only bacon crumbles. And the waffles are SO SWEET they gave me a headache after just a couple of bites. These waffles are probably good if you're looking for dessert, but if you're looking to go somewhere for breakfast I would highly recommend going elsewhere.
This place is worth the long wait! We came on a Sunday morning for breakfast and put our names in around 10 AM. We walked a few blocks to get a cup of coffee and enjoy the sunshine, and when we came back 45 minutes later our table was ready! We shared the Blueberry Lemon Ricotta Pancakes and Crab Cake Benedict - both were absolutely delicious! Both plates came with fresh fruit, which served to be a nice palette cleanser for us.The benedict was flavorful, comforting, rich... everything you want a benedict to be. I'm a little iffy about hollandaise sauce, but this place does it right. The crab cake itself was so tasty & moist, and the avocado was a nice touch. The pancakes were out of this world. Thick and fluffy with a hint of lemon and bursts of fresh blueberry in every bite. I could have eaten the whole plate myself!
They say they won a prize for best waffle in the usa. Doubt it. The belgian waffles here are a bit off. You feel sugar grains in the waffles. Don't like that. Not sure they have the recipe right. Still this is the best belgian waffle I know about in Los Angeles.Everywhere else shops commit the serious crime of selling you "upscale" eggo waffles or worse as "belgian". Yes, belgium came up with waffles but to he called belgian they need to at least try to make them authentic not just call them that. Belgian waffles are not sponges. They are relatively dense and rich. Some of the waffles out there are as belgian, as taco bell tacos are Mexican.
