If you're in the Hollywood area check out Secrets restaurant. A nice outdoor restaurant/bar, and hookah lounge. Overall a nice place to have a quick bite to eat and have a drink. Highly recommend.
I stumbled upon this place while out trying to scavenge food with my boyfriend way too late. A cute crevice on Hollywood Blvd, this place was just what we needed. The initial wait for our cocktails took nearly 20 minutes; bummer, but the tasty food made up for it.I understand the neighborhood and scene at that time of night but still, the music was a bit ratchet and too loud. After the first bloody Mary, the music was tolerable to me but not my French boyfriend.. Other than that, this place is super-awesome. I'll be back. Next time, I told my guy we will try the hookah. ??

I always love this little hidden area tucked into Hollywood Blvd, and the Secret restaurant is a big reason why (that and No Vacancy). Rob was our waiter last time and was friendly and attentive. The food was fantastic--I got grilled cheese that was out of this world!
Stumbled upon this place after having a drink at the Four Seasons with a girlfriend and let me say we were delightfully surprised! This place is really hip but more importantly all the folks here were super cool! In addition to delicious cheese plates and charcuterie, the folks at Hanna Winery & Saintbury did a great job of steering us in the right direction as far as wine selection. Did I enjoy the wine? Yes! Was I a bit tipsy? Yes! Did I leave/drop my credit card? Unfortunately yes, but Jaime who was on his way in to work for the evening found it and called my house. Exceptional wines and top-shelf, friendly folks providing extraordinary service, this is a MUST DO if you are in the area!!! Will definitely come here again!
Stopped here while checking out Hollywood Blvd. I shared the falafel plate with my friend. I thought the falafel and hummus were really great. My mom seemed to enjoy her turkey panini. Overall it was an ok experience, the guy cleared our drinks without seeing if we were done which is annoying but not the end all be all.
My friend and I were meeting up with her fiancee to get drinks and snacks before dinner and since he worked in the area she suggested we go here. Got to sample my friend's The French Thinker, which wasn't too bad. The pate wasn't too bad but the fresh seasonal side vegetables were lacking. It's nice, cool lounge spot.
We showed up to this restaurant around 7, the waitress took our drink and appetizer order, then when she came back I had asked her, “Is it possible if I could order the grilled cheese?” And she looked at me and said, “no” walked away, and then immediately came back with the check. The customer service was absolutely horrible.
They add a 18% gratuity fee, then give you a receipt without a list of ordered items, but it has an additional gratuity line, so watch out. (You could be tipping 38% if you meant to tip 20%). But the food and hookah was good. Here are pictures of the men's bathroom:
