Only a 4.2? This place should be a 5.2! The food here is fantastic which is why SO many people order online! They only had 4 people working but they were working their a***s off! Tip these people more and support a local business! Fantastic stuff!
Ate there last night. It's a small, cozy restaurant with a great ambiance. They have a fantastic Italian (& Sardinian) wine list. Lorella was very friendly and helpful in pairing a great wine to go with our food, and she took time to come and converse with all of us. Our server was very good and friendly. He did forget one first course that we ordered and we got the wrong item on that, but it wasn't a big deal -- but that's the only reason I'm knocking one star.
This place is sooooooo good! Clam chowder, popcorn shrimp, salmon, banana pudding are my favorites so far! Tasty as heck and not too bad prices. The only downfall, no parking really. But other than that this place is a gem in DTLA!

It's always a challenge to find really good fish and chips, but this place delivers. The batter is just perfect and the fish so fresh with that delicious delicate white meat. The chips are hand cut and about a 1/4 inch squared. Very reasonably priced and served by a lovely Brit who clearly loves what she does. My wife, who does not eat seafood, tried a bite and ended up eating 1/4 of my order. We shared this with the owner and had a great time talking with her. So warm and friendly. Awesome experience!
Was looking for a stand alone restaurant but found a food truck. I liked that it had its own seating area. I ordered the stinky fries with parmesan and garlic and they were delicious! If I get back to San Francisco I will definitely go check them out again!
Food and service is super amazing! Staff are nice and accommodating. Love the clam chowder and Salmon Poke. Omg and the bacon wrap shrimp skewers are to die for❤ The salmon plate is also yummy. The shrimp cocktail is super delish! Chips are always so crispy and stay fresh for days!
My favorite here is the Beer Battered Fish and Chips.I don't care for spicy but that batter has a touch of jalapeños in it and it's damn good.Tartar sauce is even good.And the garlic Parmesan fries!
Damn good fish & chips. I was on a fish & chips kick for awhile and Codmother satisfied these cravings every time. Crispy batter; thick, salty fries. Drown it all in that malt vinegar! Who cares if it's touristy? This place is bomb.
Overpriced fish tacos... Fish fillets/pieces are miniscule and tacos are not big enough to charge $3.99 pet taco... Poke salmon bowl along the same lines. Just no. 2.5 stars on value/price. Taste is good though, but the above subtracts stars. Edit: salmon poke bowl was delicious. Highly recommended. Avoid the fish tacos, unless you got a decent portion of fish before and maybe my order was a fluke?
