I waited 1hr for 2 pupusas on a Monday at 2pm I was hoping it be fast since it's not rush hour. When asking for a follow-up the older big guy there was VERY rude. He didn't even let me finish asking my question shen he shouted, wait. Im not a child to yell at. When other people wanted to ask him a question he would turn around and And/or look away to avoid them. Very rude and long wait time. Don't recommend the place.

Ok. So I ordered 3 revueltas. And they were ? amazing. The curtido was bomb. I think it's because they add some chilly flakes and that gives such a quick. The sauce was so good but intriguing bc I wondered if they made themselves or bought it.Can't wait to go back!

The food was ok, the salad was spicy, didn’t know that. Tamal was very thick of corn flour, I would like thinner. So far it was ok. Great customer service!

Terrible operations, ok food. They don't even start preparing your food until they completely finish the order before yours. I waited over 25 minutes for food and half of it ended up being microwaved. Don't get the stew, I watched them pull it from the fridge and stick it in the microwave for 4 minutes. The pupusas looked good but my friend said they were just ok. Quality isn't a strong point and food takes forever. Avoid!

Popusas were good not great. I visited during lent so was limited to there menu. I had the shrimp and nopales (cactus) popusas. The slaw and sauce was okay. The size was the best part. Way bigger than traditional popusas. Order 3 only had one and a half. Probably would go back but not my first choice with the great options at GCM!

Best place in LA for Papusas !I must stop here when I visit from the Bay Area ??Having them two days in a row!Hella bomb ! Must try the ruvueletas ?

Papusas were fine, I ordered chicken ones but most of it was cheese. I ordered a carne asada plate which terrible. I couldn’t eat it, way too over cooked. I watched them cook the steak, they left it grilling and seemed to forget about it for a solid 5-10 minutes. I’d go elsewhere at the market.

A first for me! I’ve ordered their pupusas and it was good! I waited about 15minutes for my food which was no big deal. Food was terrific and the prices were great too!

It’s been 45 minutes and I still have not received the two pupusas I ordered. If you enjoy waiting an hour for food, I highly recommend this place. You will fall in love with it!

I am very sorry to have to write this bad review. In the last two weeks I have eaten their food, tamales and beans with that cream and rice and chorizo, and on both occasions, I have felt terrible afterwards. On the first time, I ate their breakfast plate, and got the runs for the day. On the second time, I ate a tamale and felt terrible with a headache and an upset stomach the rest of the evening. I had not eaten anywhere else that day; so it was not someone else's food. I believe the tamales or the masa or oil used was rancid or reused, and that led to my upset stomach. I will never again eat there. I honestly do not think that the workers (the cooks) really know what they are doing or practice proper hygiene. After all, they are from either Mexico or El Salvador, mostly, where hygiene is not of paramount concern. I am not attacking their country of origin, but I am attacking the type of food they produce. I am sorry, but I will never again eat there, and I do not recommend it at all to anyone, friend or foe.
