The staff here is really amazing. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. I also think it’s a nice touch when all of the staff acknowledge when someone enters a leave with a loud greeting and/or thank you! On Sunday afternoon, it wasn’t too crowded, and the atmosphere was quiet and sophisticated. The only reason didn’t give 5 stars are the following minor annoyances:- Two of our plates were dirty (in the photo I look annoyed, because I’m inspecting the dirty plate). Our waiter immediately fixed this and seemed genuinely embarrassed.- It’s on the pricey side, but this side of downtown tends to be. Sushi in Little Tokyo will cost you a little less, but I’m sure the building lease is less expensive there as well.- The sign outside said “Saturday and Sunday lunch special”. It was about 12:45, and I inquired about the special. I was told it starts at 3:00…. Not a big deal but seems like an odd time to start a lunch special.All in all, it’s close to home, the food and service was great, and I’m sure we’ll be back again, next time for dinner.
This place was amazing! The shishito peppers and edamame with the spicy garlic seasonings hit the spot! We also had a variety of rolls, the crunch was great, rainbow, spider, candy cane, and I can't remember the last one but all of then were great! .. safe to say we ordered way too much food but it was all delicious. It was a bit expensive but it was expected since it's in los angeles and the area is surrounded by fine dining. Our tab came out to about $180 (not including tip) for 2 appetizers and 6 rolls and 4 drinks. So not too bad for LA. If it's within your means definitely stop by!
We had an amazing experience! We showed up with a party of 11 on a Friday night without reservation. The staff made it work with minimal wait, the food was incredibly tasty and fresh, and the food came out very quick. Would highly recommend and would certainly come again if I am in the area. Also, the security man up front was an absolute sweetheart!
Salmon bento box was excellent/chicken was not grilled properly and very hard and chewy Very friendly service Great portion sizes Donât go expecting the greatest sushi in the world. But itâs good. Inside seating is very dark for some reason and not energetic

Such a sweet staff so warm and welcoming. The menu has staples but offers the item cook, seared, or raw. We tried the garlic roll and the rainbow roll. They were equally appetizing. For a late Tuesday evening meal, just off of the main drag of downtown, you want to one here. Parking was no problem.
Excellent food and service.
Easy to find. There's more than enough parking on the street. The guard was super nice at the entrance. The staff was very helpful and over we enjoyed our meal. Good food and drinks
