As much as I’d like to support a local family business , I have to be honest. It’s a nice attempt to be a gastropub that just doesn’t work. Food is average at best (as someone cook by a book without true experience nor passion).Service is not bad but not uplifting either. Everyone looks like they spent a shift on a mining job and just want to get to a bed.It could be compensated by a fair price but they charge as a truly exceptional foodie places which feels wrong.

I rarely feel compelled to make a review but this place was amazing. The freshest food in the cutest garden with the sweetest server. I wish I could eat here every day.

Our family ate at this restaurant after walking along the Hollywood Walk of Fame. It's a little off the beaten path, but what a wonderful experience! Previous reviews had warned not to let the entrance scare you off and they were right. The entrance to the Running Goose is a little neglected, but keep on going because it's the patio that you're looking for. Food is on the gourmet side but not overpriced. Wait staff was attentive and delightful. Wonderful experience. Favorite restaurant on our trip to Los Angeles.

Delicious, local and organic food simply prepared and beautifully presented. Unique dishes and and interesting spices. Beer and wine available.

The service and food was amazing. The taste was fresh and not overpowering. The chef uses fresh ingredients and makes everything taste fabulous. You must try the roasted carrot chips.

First time at this restaurant and it was wonderful - delicious food and amazing service! They were very accommodating to my allergies, which is always important. My partner and I shared the lamb chops (super juice and well seasoned), I had the salmon for my main (love the apple risotto), and he had the gnocchi (one of the best gnocchi he had).

Full of flavour and fresh ingredients. We shared some delicious small plates; the corn tostada had a beautiful chargrilled flavour and the smoked beet quesadilla were my favourites. The little courtyard hides you from the hustle and bustle. Service was excellent and the wine was very good too

Everything about our evening at Running Goose was perfect, from the warm welcome from the owner when we wandered in unannounced, until we regretfully left for our hotel. The patio ambience was a perfect combination of serenity and fun. The menu was a perfect combination of familiar and interesting, with enough choice to make us wish we could come again. And the flavors were scrumptious. We were glad we chose the fettuccine and the lamb tangine, but it was that evening's "farm vegetable" (savory carmelized roasted carrots) that our server recommended that knocked our socks off. Oh...and the pavlova for dessert was out of this world. On top of all this, the staff were cordial and informative without being chummy. In short, we could not have asked for a better experience!

The chef has outstanding culinary skills.Great location and very good ambience as well. I tried the fetuccini Alfredo shrimp. It was very flavorful. The crispy fried calamari is also very tasty.

This is one of the most delicious restaurants I've ever been to. Every single thing we ordered was amazing and we ordered A LOT. The baked brie is to die for (make sure you smash and spread the roasted garlic). I thought the corn tostada was the best thing ever until I tried the carrot tostada. The people I went with also ordered a couple other appetizers and they loved them. I got the short rib, which was delicious, but the real star was my friend's fettuccine Alfredo. It's the least exciting thing on the menu but it was the best fettuccine Alfredo I've ever had. The real star of the show was the bread pudding we had for dessert. It was simply heavenly. I will note that some of the food isn't the most visually appealing but I promise that everything tastes absolutely amazing
