I love Thai food, it's one of my favorite cuisines. I had high hopes for this place given the rave reviews, but was very disappointed. I had the beef fried rice and my partner had a noodle stir fry with chicken (I don't recall the exact name). Both dishes were severely lacking in flavor -- I've had way better versions of both dishes elsewhere -- the beef tasted like it hadn't been seasoned, and my rice was undercooked.I was also not happy with the service. The entire time we were there, our waitress visited our table twice: once to take our order and then to give us our check. She didn't check on us once or acknowledge our presence the rest of the time. I also asked if I could substitute plain rice with fried rice for a rice plate that I wanted to order. The waitress responded with a very curt "no" and said nothing else. I didn't mind not being able to make the substitution; it was the way she spoke to me that bothered me. It was a simple question and I spoke to her respectfully. Also, three times during our dinner, one of the kitchen staff rolled a very large bin full of trash through the dining area and right by our table while we were eating. That didn't seem sanitary and it was not a pleasant sight. The reason I'm giving 2 stars and not 1 is that the food was still edible, even if it was disappointing. I would have loved to give this place a glowing review like so many of the other folks on here, but for all reasons stated above, I don't think I'll be returning.
It s so delicious! I would come here again.. real THAI food!
The food was delicious my wife confirmed with it. I could tell the taste very close or the same as in Thailand. They have morning glory it’s a rare vegetable in Arizona. What you see on the pictures I paid $68 I think is not bad.
As someone who lived in Thailand for 10 years, the authenticity is ON POINT ?? ? great spiciness and tanginess from the Tom Yum Goong. The Stew Pork Leg was superrr tender and the accompanying sauce was harmonious. Pad See Ew was a little dryer than what I’m used to, but the highlight for me was the Rahd Na. The gravy wasn’t too salty or bland and the crunchiness of the veggies complimented the juicy tender pork slices very well.10/10
I was in LA (Fall 2021) and it was only fitting to visit what was considered one of the best Thai restaurant in the only official Thai Town in the country. The interior and aroma of this restaurant passed the vibe check. It was a crowded evening, but the wait to be seated wasn't too long. I had read some Yelp reviews beforehand, so I ordered the pork jerky. We also ordered the crispy pork, spicy catfish and soup.It was one of the best homemade and authentic Thai dishes I've ever had, and nothing back in New York City comes close. It's true, their pork jerky is legit bomb. The spicy catfish exceeded my expectations and I don't even like fish that much, but I couldn't stop myself from taking another piece of it. The portion for the price was reasonable and the friendly staff made an amazing lasting impression. This is one of those restaurants that you have to visit every time when you are visiting from out of state!
I come here for the classic morning glory + fried omelette + congee combo, usually only found on the streetsides of Bangkok in the early morning hours. They make it like they make it on the streets here. Real comfort food. Tastes like home.
Very authentic Thai food. I can now stop telling people that “I only like Thai food in Thailand”. Located in a small plaza so there’s some parking. They also began to check covid vaccination card so be ready when you go!
Pad see eew EXCELLENT beef and large clear noodle dish.Green curry with chicken is perfectly spiced.Highly recommend.
Used to be cash only. Accepts credit cards now.
My friend took me to thai town, we went here to eat Kouy jub, rice noodle with pork intestines, pork belly, livers, tofu and half of boil egg, not a lot places have it. It was salty but it was good, there was no pork blood in the noodle soup. Service was good. The Cha-po, duck, bbq pork and crispy pork belly was ok.
