I went in to order and sat my things on a seat while I was reading a menu (standing) as a customer if I’m not occupying a seat with myself in it in addition to my things it should have been fine. However, Jesus was working tonight and said (while I was standing about to order) that I needed to move my things for customers. If I am about to purchase anything from an establishment, then I should also have access to a seat as well. I will never do business with them.
You already know how it goes when you buy food at an airport and what kind of quality you will get but this place was good for what it was highly recommend both dishes that we ordered the hamburger and wings. Beer was cold, and priced just how it is expected. If you’re going to fly this a good place to grab some drinks and get a buzz before boarding.
Excellent service. There are power outlets here to charge your devices while waiting for the aircraft. Very conveniently located.
It is open to the terminal and you either sit in the back near their trash or out by all the people. The hamburger said choice of cheese on the menu, but all they had was cheddar, which in the end seemed like a slice of American cheese. And the hamburger was not very warm when I got it. They only had yellow mustard. The fries were kind of soggy and not hot. They put a lot of napkins and straws and salt and pepper packs on the table, and when I told him we did not use them, he said he had to throw them away anyway. I would choose another place to eat at that terminal.
What is the burger made of? I understand it’s a bar and in the evening, but it’s pretty bad. The patty is flavorless cardboard, bacon is so crispy it turns to powder, and the bun immediately splits into 5 pieces when picked up
Susana was great. Great service and good place to relax and eat before your flight. Very busy place in United terminal
Its a good bar/ restaurant near gates of Terminal 7. Its not very private so you are surrounded by travellers all the time.. if you need a little more quiet or privacy, there are few other locations further down the terminal. This is just an open bar with few steel tables . its convenient if you are flying out of close by gates so you can keep an eye on boarding times.. otherwise there is not much special about this place. The service is good and the servers understand your time and always ask if you have some time for your drink or meal or if you are in a hurry. Few tvs on the back bar to watch a game and pass time, but its difficult to hear the tvs as the place is in the open. $12 corona... what else can you say.
Carlos and Susanna, took care of each patron, were kind, professional, extended grace to demanding patrons and looked out for us, making sure we were all attended to. They remembered each patron waiting for their food, who asked for what, asking people to step to the side to respect patrons who left for the bathroom. They made us feel like family! Thank you for managing our expectations on the wait time for food and asking us if we were ok. Great experience.
There was barely anyone working there, it was completely unclear whether you seat yourself or wait in line- people were milling around because there is no host or staff. We sat, waited for 15 minutes- then asked the one waitress when we could finally get her attention, only to be told that the kitchen just closed… thanks very much.
I had some time to kill while waiting for my flight so I decided to hang out at the bar here for little bit. I sat at the bar cuz i needed the charging ports for my phone. The bartender asked what I was having. I have been on non-alcoholic ginger beer (think ginger ale with a more intense ginger flavor) kick lately so I asked for one. She asks do you want any thing with that (implying alcohol in it). I say no. I order two more over my time there (served up in a cute little 7oz bottle along with a plastic cup and some ice and a wedge of lime). I also ordered a hamburger with cheese and bacon medium. It came out crusty dry and overcooked.I said nothing about the hamburger. That was my fault but the bill came and it was $49 and change!?!?!. $24 and change was for the 3 ginger beers I ordered. I had no idea it would be this expensive. I questioned the bartender and she said we don't typically sell the ginger beer with out adding alcohol so she had to charge me like she did add alcohol. I asked to talk to the manager. I said to him that $24 for three 7oz soda's is a bit much. He said I can give you the 3 shots to go with it if you like. I said that's ridiculous. He said welcome to LAX. I said OMG its not like I'll come here ever again!! I paid my bill and added $0.00 as the tip (the waitress should have backed me up on the issue and didn't).
