It was my favorite sushi place for many years. Everything was quick and tasty and always friendly cashiers. But today I placed the order by phone like usually (usually takes 15 to 20 minutes)And waited for almost an hour. Place was almost empty, just a few people was there. Then few new costumers who placed the orders after me got their orders earlier.I asked when my simple order will be ready? Cashier Leva said - you will be next. But after 10 minutes or so. I saw how other new customers got their orders. I requested refund my money because I didn’t have a time for wait anymore. But cashier Leva said we will return your money in about 3 business days. I requested my money immediately and call manager to make a customer complaint. She returned the money but she denied my request for calling to manager or give me the book with customer complaints. I left my phone number and they promised manager will call me. But I don’t think anyone will call me. Because she was so mean and rude to me.
Rolls are small but for the price are good and fresh. California rolls are $3.75. friendly and quick service. Must buy sauces (eel sauce and spicy mayo) $0.50.
Their rolls are really good - fresh and juicy!!!! I love that they give free miso soup with any order. However, today the cup of soup was smaller than usually ? I love it so much I’d rather pay extra to have more. I was so sad
The prices are extremely fair and portions are a decent size. The only things I have issue with is the quality is inconsistent and so are the wait times.I had some baked salmon that tasted like dirt. I've had the same roll in the past with no issues.I do takeout and place orders in person or online and the wait extends 30 minutes beyond the scheduled pick up time.
This is my to go sushi place in the neighborhood. Super fast, very affordable, amazing quality for this price. The staff is always nice and welcoming.
Love the food here. But today, I placed an online order at the same time every Friday. I even came 5-10 minutes later to give them time to finish my order but when I came in to pick up, the lady barely gave my ticket to the chef. I had to wait another 30 minutes to get my food. When I saw my order was finished, the same lady kept skipping my name. I had to ask the other lady for my order. ??
They have all new staff that don’t seem to know what’s going on. The other day I ordered a Lion King which I order all the time. It was burnt looking and tasted dry and overcooked. I am so disappointed that they would let food go out like that. I had it to go so I didn’t even notice until I got home. They need to do better
Decent rolls. Free miso if you want it with your order. I had a spicy tuna and Philly roll and edamame. Pretty good. This place stays open late. Tonight their parking area was closed. Limited street parking outside.
Incredible value. $3.50-5.00 for most rolls, a value I wasn't expecting in LA.Regarding parking: yes, there is a parking garage you can temporarily park in while you pick up your food (even has access to a backdoor into the restaurant). But parking is EXTREMELY limited and tight. Probably better to go with a friend and have them circle the block while you get your order. Still a five star place because the value and quality trumps this nitpick.
Their rolls where extremely small and their simple rolls were discussing... They didn't even look like rolls.. they looked like a seaweed wraps with rice and canned meat in the middle.... I threw half my food away... They should not be rated this high.. this is. For people who don't eat sushi....
