Giving starts ONLY FOR THE FOOD but costumer service was bad except for SYLVIA she’s amazing she offer us everything Ranch, Ketchup, Salt&pepper a different sauce she was so nice we left a good tip for her like i said she’s amazing. But the other chubby lady at night she’s pretty rude while she was taking the order she moved from the register like 4th times then we sit down we was eating like 30 min she turn off the light saying you guys want me to open the door. She didn't ask politely that was not nice. We was cleaning our table in the dark??
I pass by there..the place is generally full. I have had fries n' coke there if I pull into the drive thru. Very clean bathrooms, pleasant help. They are very friendly, day or night. Nice treat for kids! Looks like too very good for desserts! Lots to get tempted with. Yum! Families or folks alone all seem to look very happy eating there. I like The Dodger atmosphere. It seems nice for a Family to go spend time eating and bonding there. Very pleasant looking.
This is an L.A. staple. When I was in college we would head to Rick's almost every weekend for breakfast. The memories are wonderful of that place. It is still largely the same. They serve no frill breakfast plates and burritos. They also have signature burgers and several other options. We visit maybe once a year or so now at the SilverLake store and the food is the same as it was in Whittier. I especially love their loyalty to the Dodgers. It really is a slice of L.A.
I came from San fransisco to watch my giants play the dodger and came to this place right after the game and let me tell you, the food was amazing! My wife and I had no conversation at all that’s when you know the food was bomb! I got the burrito with steak & my wife got the burger. Both plates were delicious! Also the employees from last night were all amazing and very welcoming. Thank you guys! Y’all made my visit here amazing. I’m for sure coming back.
Love Rick's! Used to work right around the block, and made my way through the menu. Everything is delicious, nothing disappoints. The service is always genuinely friendly, and I love how cozy the booths are inside.Keep coming back for the chilaquiles and breakfast burritos...and the pies!
This place came highly recommended by a friend so we stopped here before Griffith park one weekend to try it out. I was pretty disappointed overall. The food wasn't good, the burger had too much lettuce and condiments, the pastrami was way too salty and greasy, and the fries/onion rings were not fried well and had no seasoning. The restaurant itself is a little outdated (i get that they want to keep the old diner feel) but there's a better way to arrange the line to order and the seating. The bathroom situation sucked. I got up 5 times to use the restroom and every time it was taken, it was so tight waiting in the little space i would go back to my seat. That needs to be updated before anything else. There are better diners out there. Sorry if I offended any fans
Rick's has everything. If it is late night and you need some amazing food. Rick's will give you what you need. We ordered burritos and cheeseburgers and were not disappointed
Very good food, with a lot of options! The Pastrami Sandwich is 10/10 All the mexican style breakfast platter are very very good! Nice variety of salsas and spicy stuff A good refill coffee Fair prices
Just picked up a pastrami burger about an hour ago, the burger and pastrami were really good even after sitting for an hour. The lady working the drive thru was also very nice and accommodating, found a new spot!
