It's a great spot for karaoke love the dive bar food and good prices on drinks!!
Atmosphere is upbeat. Friendly staff. Bartenders are pleasant and polite. Food is good reasonably priced. Wednesday through Sunday. Not sure what's going on Wednesday night but Thursday night and Friday karaoke. Saturday I'm thinking was dancing and that was pretty fun with a DJ. And Sunday more karaoke never been there on a Sunday but always a good crowd. Mostly Younger but diverse crowd pretty much. Everybody seems to be respectful and having fun. Never have seen any kind of ruckus. They do still ask for covid verification. But all in all very good time I've been there at least a dozen times and always enjoyed myself there.
Great local haunt with very friendly bar staff. Good beer selection and surprisingly great food. The nachos are stellar and the burgers aren’t half bad either. Depending on the night—it’s either a laid back watering hole with occasional trivia or a lively karaoke bar. Definitely check it out.
This is definitely one of the coolest bars around. And possibly the best place for Karaoke as well. And across the street is the all time best taco truck.Go here!
Greetings!! Most people talk about how great places are, but fail to come back. The R Bar was pleasantly exotic, speakeasy-ish, and had a feel of both night club and bar. The sort of nocturnal folks that patron the R Bar were your everyday people, and the overall vibe was amazing. Tiffany Roth was effing bada**! :D
Very swanky bar….. wish there was more tables but in smaller portions if that makes any sense.
This place is amazing. A true gem. Nigel was fantastic and made the night! Not only with his singing but his customer service and hospitality. I can’t recommend this place enough. We all had a blast and a memory to last a life time.
At first glance the bar was ok.. fun karaoke, decent drinks, etc. Then we got our tab... $74 for a sandwich, 2 drinks and a soda?? Wow.. i know it's HWood but dannggg .. it's not the Brown Derby.Not even close. Call it 2.5 stars.
Thank You very much Stephanie D. for responding. I understand how challenging serving food under the current conditions is. In the future, if I'm in the area and recovered from my knee issues to be able to stand in line, I will stop by. Thank you for offering to comp my first ever meal.
Awesome wine selection and very friendly knowledgeable staff, go early it gets packed later at night, sit at the bar and try all kinds of new wines that you have never even heard of!
