Such amazing vibe and vegan food! Every sauce in house is vegan, most dishes have a vegan or vegetarian option. This place didn’t show up when i searched for vegan restaurants, but it should have. A hidden veggie gem in the LA area!
Just had dinner there with my 3 year old daughter. The food was so delicious. My little picky eater loved the chicken bites and arroz con pollo! And we topped it off with the alfajor cookie and ice cream! Delicious with wonderful service. The cute decor kept my daughter entertained too.
Great place and service! Delicious food.
Wine and paint was fun and intimate in this little bistro. Try any of their classic peruvian dishes for a serious flavor journey. Highly recommend the Saltado, it tastes even better than it looks!
This is the first place I’ve ever tried Peruvian food and it did not disappoint. I came here with my mother a couple of months ago and I loved it! I ordered the steak tacos and they are DELICIOUS! Good portions. Perfect if you’re hungry but not super hungry. The restaurant itself pretty neat too. Always fun Latin music is playing, so it keeps an upbeat mood.
I met the owner right before the place opened. She was so sweet and walked me through a few options that I had to try. They were short staffed so she was also my server and I went with her spicy shrimp reccomendation and it didn't disappoint. Im definitely coming back as the food was on point, and I respect entrepreneurs that take pride in their biz
Awful meal. Place is really dirty--the dining room is also their storage room. Stacked boxes and all sorts of crap under the benches and tables and all over. Waitress was nice, but "new", as she reminded us about 10 times--everytime we asked her any question (e.g. "do you accept American Express?"--"I'm new, I have to find out"). Food was pretty mediocre at best, and they were really skimpy with the proteins in every dish we ordered. The Paella was awful--think really bad fried rice from a bad Chinese restaurant, only with way less shrimp and seafood. There were 3 of us sharing--wow, we each got one pretty small shrimp. My wife ordered a glass of Sangria for something like $9. The pour was like a shot of whiskey, not a glass of wine. She asked the waitress if that was typical. Waitress took the glass, and added probably less than a half inch of wine. Why bother. The place was empty (I should have known better). Still took almost 90 minutes for the meal because of how slow they were--I couldn't wait to get out of there. Just don't understand how a place like that stays in business.
Wow the flavors, nice to get our fave lomo saltado but with great appetizers of veggies and seafood. The server was nice enough to have kitchen split our lomo saltado as we wanted to share plates, and no rice to avoid getting full fast. The stuffed avocado with shrimp was nice surprise. The papa ala huancaina and warm rice pudding reminding me of our family's meals in Lima, Peru. Def hope they stay and survive these times of pandemic.
I had the plantains and the spicy shrimp and good God it was amazing. Cannot recommend highly enough
Omg the Saltado is soooo tasty and bursting with flavor. The steak is the traditional dish but I order mine with chicken (con pollo). They have happy hour wine specials, and Lucy the owner is the sweetest thing who makes sure you feel right at home.
