Everything is Awesome. From the waiters to the bartender the chefs. Then there the food just wonderful. One of my favorite Black owned restaurants ?

Reservations are necessary. It's very popular & gets really busy. I loved the atmosphere & all of the servers are really nice. The food is good & the drinks are tasty. A very diverse clientele. It's wonderful to see everyone together right in this neighborhood
Great brunch options. Really enjoyed the food and outstanding service.
What I loved:- Violinist!!! He was phenomenal. Loved listening and watching him play during brunch. What a fun experience.- Cat fish nuggets - I can eat 100 of them. Get them! Dip them in the sauce and it's a flavor packed mouthful.- The vibe - outdoor seating, quiet area. Great brunch spot.- Unlimited mimosas - always a plus for those who partake.The other entrees we got were not bad too.
They are trying, but bartenders not wearing a face mask while speaking to guests? I loved the ambiance with candlelit table settings. The host and server were very attentive. I'd heard so many great things about the restaurant, so getting cold dinner food?!? I ordered mac and cheese. This item tasted more like cheese soup and not well done. Lukewarm fish - was the heat lamps or microwave broken?!? An unfulfilling experience. I didn't even want dessert! I wanted to love this restaurant. Really., But I can't give a high score for cold food and unremarkable food presentations. The food presentations and preparations are a key part of the overall experience. I hope they get their groove back - so I can revisit and love them.
First time here and Definitely going back. Its a must. Great comfort food, drinks (we had Mimosa's), and the service was Great. The Chef was Awesome he sold us about a new fruit. Them shrimp and grits, the fried chicken, the fried potatoes, look everything was Great.
This place is absolutely perfect! I recently had my birthday dinner here. The customer service was top notch. Everyone raved about how incredibly delicious their food was. We even asked for the chef/owner to come to the table so we could thank him in person. He and his wife (the other owner) were so gracious and humble. It was a real pleasure meeting them and giving them our business. Lastly, the atmosphere was elegant and very comfortable. We will definitely be back!
Good food and drinks. Welcoming and attentive wait staff. Lovely atmosphere. Must show vaccination card and matching ID. Not many customers wearing masks, even while not eating. All staff kept masks on 100% of the time.
I have no idea where these 5-star reviews are coming from, but I can say that I've tried Post and Beam twice and I will never eat there again. The food is not good, I mean at all. How could anyone mess up mac & cheese, but they did. The greens were salty, the corn bread was almost hard as brick and there's some weird aromatics they use that left a bad taste in my mouth. I tried to give them a chance, but I just can't recommend this place. But I wish them well.
