Good flavor and friendly customer service
Came in to try the new flounder fish sandwich. I chose the spicy option and it hit the spot! Soft bun, crispy fish on the outside soft and flaky on the inside, spicy sauce, and pickle crunch in every bite. Staff was very nice, very friendly and very patient and accommodating to all even some unruly customers. Five stars to the cashiers and the señora in the back! Always come to this spot.
We arrived close to their closing time (Sorry about that) but the food we received was full of flavor and prepared fresh for us. I asked for extra packets of Cajun spices and they handed me a dozen. Really made my night!
The cashier doesn't kind what of flavors they have. I wanted to order spicy chicken finger meal. He act me what combo number is that. He told me that they don't make the chicken fingers spicy. I told him but on your menu up there says original or spicy. Then he got fisty with me. Then he turned around to the back asked if they sell the chicken fingers spicy. I think they should train their employees properly before they make them take orders by themselves.
The chicken is always good here. They substituted all drumsticks for wings but they should have told me so I didn’t have to deal with a fussy child’s eating habits. Communication is key!
Great spicy chicken and butterfly shrimp combo sets!!!!! Their 15.99 special is a good value!
Busy location. The employee was nice despite me being unable to hear and order as efficiently as those around me. Also she was nice and offered sauce which I really appreciate because I didnt get offered jam for my pancakes at mcdonalds and i know now to ask ask ask but still. I got a biscuit, mac, chicken and a drink for about $13. I also chose spicy but the spice level was so weak I could hear the kids laughing at it too. The mac was in the top 3 mac’s of fast food life ive had in the past year I’d say. The chicken was pretty good I can see why they have a line. Parking lot is small and a couple people nearly hit each other, beware. Props to the hard working employees they were so busy.
This was my first time trying Popeye's Chicken. Wow, what a surprise! I'm not normally a chicken nuggets kind of guy, but that's what I ordered. It was interesting to compare them to McDonald's chicken nuggets. The ones from McDonald's used to be pretty good, until they changed the recipe and took out all the dark meat. The all white meat version just doesn't taste very flavorful at all. By contrast, the nuggets from Popeye's were really superb. I'm converted. Also, as I mentioned in a previous review of another location, their new recipe baked mac & cheese is excellent. All in all, a nice dinner. I just wish this particular location had a drive-thru, on such a rainy night,
One of the best fast food chicken ? place out there. Love the Louisiana spices that they use in making their ?. One of the unique things that I enjoy about this place are the sides...mashed potatoes and gravy, beans and rice. And got to have honey on my biscuit.
Service was friendly and helpful, but they did not have everything on the menu. I love Popeyes chicken, but this place really made it bad. My chicken was so dry I threw away a breast. I didn't ask for my money back because some lady had come in and wanted her money back but she had to go through corporate office to get it back. Another lady ordered and then was told they didn't have what she ordered. My friends chicken was not right either. Yet we saw a lot of people either not get what they wanted because they didn't have it or try to find a substitute. The sides were on point good and delicious as always. So I didn't leave hungry. Just craving good chicken.
