I love Poke and this is the best Poke I've been to in LA. Incredibly clean, everything is beautiful, friendly and pleasant staff, everything is fresh, tasty. It can be seen that the manager knows his job, everything is organized and works at the highest level. Definitely recommend to visit. I really liked it
They used to be good prices and hooked up... they got bigger and it got over their heads
Garbage. What is this? Big hunks of basically frozen “seared” albacore fish. Will never order from here again. Worst Poke I’ve ever had.
It was fresh and filling. I really enjoyed the Sweet chili sauce, it gave the dish a good kick.
I've eaten here a few dozen times over the years and it was always solid. The seafood quality isn't the best, but they were generous with the proteins, toppings, and sauce. Basically, you were getting good value for a tasty poke.Recently, they changed their containers and it has been all downhill. The new containers are nicer but also smaller. It used to be when you ordered a large, you'd get two scoops of rice and the scoops of protein were full or even rounded. Now, it's a single scoop of rice and not even full scoops of proteins. They are similarly stingy with the sauces and toppings too.The result is a significantly smaller poke bowl that is bland and unsatisfying. If you need to fix your food cost, raise your menu prices. Expecting customers to be happy when you've changed the portion size and ruined the quality is the wrong route. It's a high-turnover location, so maybe the staff need some serious retraining.Either way, after two terrible experiences in a row I'm giving up on this spot.
My first time at Poke Bar and so far I am very impressed. Everything looked fresh and clean. Roman gave excalent service! He had an amazing hand with how he whipped together our bowl's beautifully prepared and he was so kind and informative! And the food is delicious, we will be back for another wonderful experience. Thank you Roman!??
I did like my poke. The yung man was amazing. Price is kinda high. Overall great experience.
Great tuna bowl. Crunchy flakes put it over the top. Lots of yummy sauces. Diverse selection of beverages. San pelligrino! And I got an ice cream macaroon for dessert that was probabbbbbly worth the $3.50.
Good customer service. If you're new to this place, this is how they serve your poke bowl: they ask how many ingredients you want and then they mix it all together. I didn't know they actually mixed everything together, I would have preferred for them not to mix everything together, but they had already done it so I didn't want to waste the food and make the server do it all over again. So if you like your poke bowl to have separated sides and fish tell them to not mix it because they will literally put their hands on all of the veggies and fish you picked out and start mixing it with their hands.Don't get me wrong the poke bowls here are delicious! It's just my personal preference. Also, they run out of white rice quickly! But brown rice is good too. They are located in a small plaza on the main street so no need to look for parking elsewhere ?
So the poke spot close to my residence got closed sue to covid. So i had to find another place that was good and close to me . And this placd is not close but i am willing to drive all the way over there because its pretty good.
