A wonderful find on the UCLA campus. Beautiful surroundings and outstanding food for a reasonable price.
The atmosphere was amazing. We ate breakfast al fresco and had: Eggs Santorini, a custom omelet and a fruit and pastry plate. Eating outdoors for breakfast in an east facing setting did have its setbacks. We had to adjust the provided umbrellas a few times to get out of the rising sun. The primary issue we had was with service. After we were seated we had to flag someone down to even take a drink order after sitting for 10 minutes. Our drinks arrived with our food (unacceptable). The server was very apologetic and took the drinks off of our bill. The food is on the pricier side, but given that tips are not accepted, it turns out to be quite reasonable. I can only hope that the servers are adequately compensated in lieu of tips. I can only imagine how great dinner or lunch would be, given how delicious our breakfast was.
Good food, good service, good ambiance. Easy parking - amazing for the UCLA campus.
Portions are extremely small but the food is DELICIOUS!! We have gone many times because it is in our neighborhood - the waitstaff is great - the the food really is exceptional -

A party of 5. We dined on the patio and it was delightful. Server was very attentive. Food was delicious. Ambience lovely. No one in our party had any complaints. only compliments.

Beautiful indoor/outdoor dining on the UCLA campus, with easy walking access to Westwood Village. 6;30 dinner reservations and we were easily able to walk to the Geffen for an 8:00 performance. Food was delicious and beautifully presented, excellent unobtrusive service.
The food has changed at Plateia with the dinner entrees not nearly as good as in the past. Possibly a new chef aiming for more gourmet dishes but I preferred the old menu. Caesar salad is not typical and disappointing. Swordfish with breaded outside was not a hit. Salmon was good. Lamb was ok but atypical. Large groups ruin the ambiance. i would find a way to sit 10 or more in a different area if you can.
