There are a lot of places that offer pizza by the slice BUT no one does it like Pizzanista! If you want variety and incredible crunch dont look any further. Yes incredible crunch, and im speaking specifically about their Sicilian (get the corner piece as I did) Margherita slice. It will have your mouth watering just at the sight of it once taken out of the stapled paper bag it comes in if you decide to get it to-go. Its well prepared and gives you something to unwrap before plunging into a sea of flavor. This pizza was so good, I had to contemplate a second slice even though the one slice was as long as my forearm, no exaggeration. I will definitely be a returning customer.
Pizzanista is different. They have a great selection of pizza and on Sunday you can have mac and cheese pizza if you want. We did.The location is cute. Parking can be a bear, but you will find a spot. We ordered by phone and picked up our pizza. I do not know if they have indoor seating. I forgot to look. The place is not big.The service was very friendly and our pizza was ready when promised and it was hot and great.We tried the mac and cheese pizza. If you love mac and cheese try this, only on Sunday. If you are not a huge fan get something else because it is loaded with mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was super tasty as was the rest of what made up the pizza.We also ordered a pizza with meat, olives and I really don't recall what else. It was just great. Everyone loved it.Their pizzas are pricy, but they are also huge.They also have Strawberry Crush, in the bottle. That is hard to find and so sweet and good.We love this place and will be back.

Best pizza in California period. Amazing vegan options. This place changed my life after waiting 7 years to find edible pizza on the west coast. Being from NJ I'm so picky about pizza and this is the only California pizza besides one other pretty decent place that also has good vegan pizza, worth eating. Plus they have pizza by the slice!!!! Eff yes. I totally miss the lbc location. Please come back! But I will occasionally drive to dtla for the experience.
Wowwwww! Amazingly good pizza especially the Mac and cheese pizza on Sundays! They should have it every day and get a bigger store. Only downside is it's really expensive but it's worth it. Just wish it wasn't that pricey
great by the slice new york style pizza (it’s thin crust + crusty too) tried margherita + mushroom sopressata and both were really good!
My boyfriend ordered the Sicilian pizza and did not get what he was expecting, I ordered the vegan margarita and it looks like it had been dried out for a few days and had the cheese completely removed from it. I was really excited to try this place based on the reviews and the amount of vegan pizza options, but I can happily say I will never be returning here. Spend your money elsewhere
I've had New York style pizza a handful of times so my perspective on good NY style pizza is limited. Although, this pizza is amazing! I tried the Meat Jesus, White, and the Margherita and all were delicious! The place did not disappoint.
If you’re coming for the gluten free pizza, I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT. I literally never cook and could have made a better pizza myself. The crust was hard and chewy and the ingredients were stale and unflavorful. Mind you, I almost hadn’t eaten for 24 hours when I ate here. A Chuck E. Cheese pizza would have hit the spot at that point. I also ordered extra cheese and didn’t get extra cheese. Ended up being $33 for a very forgettable pizza.
Best vegan pizza I have ever had. The cheese is great which is hard to nail with vegan options, and their pepperoni is also delicious. Their vegan mac and cheese slices they have on Sundays are bomb. People there are also very nice. Highly recommend!
