Line moved very quickly, didnt know we were there for free hot dog time so nice surprise! Had the dinger, chili, cheese, jalapenos. Onion rings on the side good but could be crisper. Nice seating outside!
Great dogs from the Hollywood's icon, Pink's. Great service. Lots of outside seating in the back. Pet friendly. A must see.
Great place, so many options and they taste really good, the line was not too long which we appreciated and the cashier was really nice to us!
I couldn't leave LA without trying Pink's Hot Dogs. We drove 30 minutes for some hot dogs--they were definitely worth it! In total we ordered 7, everything was super fresh. The guacamole was ?, like butter. They don't hold back on the toppings so you may need a fork and knife. I didn't get the pleasure of going inside (we had sleeping kids), but my fiance said it was nice seeing all the celebrity photos and autographs up, he also noted the customer service is excellent. The only mistake I did was ordering 4--they're hearty! Overall would recommend! If you love Frank's you have to give Pinks a try! They sell burgers too (I'll try one next time and let yall know)
Hot dogs always test better when you stand in line for 30 to 45 minutes smelling them being cooked and reading about the history of an LA landmark. Such was our experience as first-timers to Pink's. The line wrapped around the building, which helped us in choosing our hot dogs from their extensive list of choices. I opted for the Philly Cheesesteak dog, which was very good. I give it 4 starts because they serve those orange french fries, which are simply awful in my opinion. Next time, I'll bring a bag of chips or swing by McDonald's for their fries.
It was such a delight to eat at Pink's! I loved the origin story, and I loved all the fun options and celebrity photos. I ended up getting a classic with mustard and onions, and it was probably the best hot dog I've ever had. It snapped like a real beef hot dog should. I will definitely come back next time I'm in LA!
I've been coming here for decades and the food is good but not great. On this evening visit I ordered the chili cheese dog and requested pickles added. The hot dogs have a snap to them and the chili and ingredients are pretty good. It's a good place to come by when you want a quick meal and it's popular among locals and tourists.
It's by far one of the best hot dogs I ever ate. Really good portion, tasty and filled. Perhaps the downside is that it's quite pricy but not much more than what some people charges while walking by the pier. 100% worth it.
My family has been coming to pinks for over 30 years. My 1st date with my husband was at Pink's. The news came by one night in the 80's and interviewed us. The staff knows us and we enjoy ourselves anytime we dine. The atmosphere and the food is just relaxing. We ran up on MC Hammer back when he was number 1. He talked to the kids and that made their night! Pink's is truly an Icon!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Since 1939, love the history. I was getting a oil change at jiffy lube across the street at 9am and didn’t see a line so I went by to try this la staple. Thought the nostalgia was great and their hotdogs taste good and they have all types of amazing dogs. Service was no nonsense and very fast. Got the Rosie dog and enjoyed it as much as you can love a hotdog. I believe you should try it once and get there at 9am and skip the lines.
