I've been visiting this fine establishment for over 10 years. While they might not have the best pho in Los Angeles, they have one specific item on their menu that only a handful of restaurants have: charbroiled pork pho. This is now the only kind of pho that I will get. The charbroiled pork adds a very distinct, smoky flavor to the broth that I find very addicting. May you and your charbroiled pork live forever Pho 87.
The Pho was delicious. Service was A plus. My kids loved their Pho. We highly recommend Pho 87.
Not only the best Vietnamese food in all of LA, but some of the best pho I’ve ever had! Everyone there is super friendly, as well. One gentlemen came by, bringing me a couple of side items from the back and showed me different ways to enjoy my meal and introduced me to some new flavors! Can’t wait to come back, this place is such a gem!
Best pho in town. We had the pork pho and it was just simply the best. Full of depth and flavoursome. It's so good you could easily have another bowl.
An LA staple. Been going here for years and the food is always delicious. Get the green onions in oil, it'll punch up your bowl straight out of this world.
Customer service? Well there is none. Pricing? Way over priced for what you get. Taste and quality? The broth was warm and tasteless, meat was mushy and chewy, super gross. Do yourself a favor and enjoy your money elsewhere, your better off making yourself a cup o noodle soup at home.
I found the place and food to be super disappointing and WAY OVERPRICED for it’s incredibly low standards. The restaurant itself needs a deep cleaning and to clean their very dirty seating. The don’t seem to have any respect for their paying customers. The pho was watered down and tasteless as well as the “fresh” spring rolls which looked pathetic on the plate. The bean sprouts were old and what is usually a lime was replaced with a lemon. How does this place have great or even good reviews? Have people not dined out before? Or have had pho in their lives? The place has zero integrity. Pho is supposed to be cheap and yummy.
My favorite Vietnamese restaurant in the downtown LA area. They take credit cards now! They are always great
This place was decent but not great for pho. We were desperate for a dinner spot while in the area and decided to visit for its great reviews. Portions are really large which was great as we were tired and hungry, but I've had better broth and noodles elsewhere.
Great spot for pho in Chinatown. The food here is delicious and the service is fast. I think they used to be cash only, so there’s an ATM inside, but I was able to pay with card.
