sauce is good ,BUT pork ribs boiled too much ,also both meats ( links) Not smoked much. +long wait ,man taking orders not ever showing appreciation for our business. like he's doing us a favor taking our money. HE'S worked there sense on leimert bl. Why did they close up LEIMERT ??
Highly recommend ordering online because of the wait time. Definitely worth it. The bbq and sides were incredible! Not many places care for their side dishes, but here they do and it shows. Very delicious.
Got to give them their props, Friday before Memorial Day, had to wait 2hours, but this time it was worth the wait. Tip were very meaty and tender, beef links were very tasty, not that soy grit cheap sausage.
This is the #1 place to get some bbq! Because of its popularity, you may have a little wait time but it is well worth it. The meats are so tender and you get a nice quantity for the price. It's making my mouth water talking about it. You have to try Phillips BBQ, either location, Inglewood or Crenshaw!
The food was ok! The bbq sauce was nasty. The sides are too small and the baked beans are bland. The ribs were cooking well done ?? everything is not for everybody.

The barbecue was great. I had a two meat combo beef lengths and pork ribs which took me 2 days to eat. The potato salad was perfect size however the beans beans could have had a little bit more taste but they were still good. Parking is pretty easy the line move fast. People were standing outside when I arrived waiting on their food. You must wear your mask when entering inside the facility. Price is comparable to the portion of food.
food is GREAT!!! not the place to go if you are in a hurry, but most definitely worth the wait! big protein portions, kind of snall sides, but filling
