As others said, service could be a LOT better. However, the breakfast burritos are awesome!
The cashier was so rude! Walked up 15 minutes before closing to look at the menu and rather than just talking to *me* as I’m standing there, he stands there and shouts to no one? everyone? “WE’RE CLOSED!” Cool dude, it’s 745 and you close at 8, but closing early isn’t even what annoyed me. Just talk to people like a decent effing human being. “Hey, sorry, we’re already closed tonight” would have done *wonders* for my perception of this place.This place ain’t it. Sorry.

This is really the centerpiece of the Fairfax farmers market. They offer mostly simple sandwiches and deli food your order won’t be very complex but all in all it’s a fair price for the serving size. Expect a line they do have a bar setting where you can get served. I ate here quite a lot when I worked locally. Staff is friendly and they are always busy.
The staff isn't friendly at all and treat customers as if they're a nuisance. The food was ok at best. Got two of both the French Dip and the Pastrami Sandwiches and all were horrible. I've had Pastrami from a package that had more flavor and wasn't cold, the French Dip Sandwich somehow has less flavor than the Pastrami and was also cold. The dip that's included with the French Dip was cold as well for both plates. On top of all that the plates were inconsistent where one sandwich had more meat than the other sandwich and one plate got orange slices and the other didn't. There are plenty of great places to eat and dine at and this is the last place I would recommend anyone to go eat at when you're at The Original Farmers Market.
The original hot dog is the best hot dog I’ve had in a long time and their double cheese burger is huge and also amazing. Fries are hot and crispy burger is toasty and buttery and the hot dog was perfectly cooked
Horrible customer service! Ordered a sandwich with some cole slaw. Server never bothered to say " hey for about a dollar more, you can also get fries". I also just noticed of you order online, prices are a few dollars less. I never got the bill....server just took my card and ran it. The cole slaw was watered down and had no taste whatsoever.
Today I went to this place for my lunch to get my food, The guy in the register by the name Ricardo G. Was very rude when I ask him for ranch for my meal the sad part is that I always purchase here for my lunch and today he was very rude to me in front of other customers I feel if you don’t like where you work you should just quit not take on your customers. Not planning to buy from here anymore.
Excellent philly cheese steak sanwich and fries. Sooo good. Perfect amount of meat, onions, and mozzarella cheese. Fries where shoestring size and cooked to perfection. We had lots of restaurants to choose from at the farmer's market. We are so glad we choose Phil's Deli and Grill. Also the combo of sandwich, fries and drik was reasonably priced at $13. Best food and deal since we arrived in LA. Highly recommend.
