Menu is not diverse, a lot of unnecessary fees, (I.e. dessert fee, corkage fee, “safety” fee etc.) overall more bang for your buck at other spots.

Perch is always a nice vibe. Everyone from the host on floor 1, to the wait staff was so lovely. Food was amazing.

rude coat check staff and food is so/so. nice ambiance

As always service and food was on point. Yesterday everything was great

It was great!!! Food was brought out in a timely manner.

Amazing experience, the food was the best brunch I’ve had at a upscale affordable restaurant! Go you will not regret it !

Good food, great view, no time.

I’ve been to Perch countless times and have generally had a positive experience. Unfortunately, my visit on 8/7 was less than stellar. My party of four arrived first the first seating at 10am and were offered an more interior seat on the patio. Given that the restaurant was entirely empty due to it just opening, we asked for a table with a better view. We were offered the table directly next to the one initially offered. When I pointed to a preferred area, I was told no, that we were not allowed to sit there. Wow. The waiter was very kind/personable. However, our food took almost 1 hr to arrive. He took notice of this and brought a constellation bowl of fries, which was a nice gesture but not what we ordered or wanted. One dish (French toast) arrived and then the following 3 arrived about 25 mins after. My group did not make a complaint, but we took notice that every table around us (which arrived after us) had finished eating and left and filled with new people. The food was okay. At the end of the meal (which took far longer than their 90 min max), we were given the check. No adjustment for the 1+ hour wait and there was a 4.5% “safety and security charge.” I inquired about this and was told that it was an outdated charge from when the restaurant was required to provide PPE at the start of the pandemic. The staff added that it could be taken off. It felt greedy and exploitative. I was just pretty shocked by all of this and it’s certainly not the Perch I was used to. Maybe we were just the unlucky table, but I think I might go to Cara-Cara or an alt rooftop in the future when I have guests visiting. Disappointed.

Really good food and the waiters were great! We just noticed that the busboys were rushing a lot so they keep on forgetting to refill our water glasses even though

Service and live music was amazing and made my night. Drinks were also tasty. I'd definitely recommend for the ambience alone.
