The food is always tasty and the customer service is usually Lovely !!! Definitely my go to for some of Thee Best Belizean Food!!??

Authentic Belize food. Mom and pop restaurant. The food is good. Small place. Service is great.

I came in asked for oxtail and rice and beans and no one said much they spoke to each other about a missing sign and still said nothing so I walked out I went to get peppers at least their employees speak.

I always go here for the fry jacks, and tortillas when I’m feeling to make it myself! I went here today for lunch! Very disappointed! The rice is gummy like it’s spoiled it smells Burnt! This food was not worth the price at all I’ve had way better! That’s why my dad only goes for breakfast, breakfast is the only thing that taste cool here! Don’t waste your money on dinner it is not Fresh it’s like days old food shame on them!

Wow!!! What a great little surprise I almost literally ran into! While I was in South Los Angeles I noticed a few places that advertised Belizean Food so I pulled over to see about Sit-In-Diining, and the first few places did NOT allow for sit in dining, BUT when I called Pelican... they said come on over we have Sit In Dining I didn't know that they where just a few buildings away from where I pulled over! So it was fate!I met Doris & Flore... two wonderful Women who greeted me well and the service was great! Pelican looks like an old diner styled restaurant with tables and bar top with stools! That's where I was served the most wonderful plate of Ox Tails, Black beans mixed in with White rice, Potato salad, and Plantains!!!Well worth the money!Another person ordered this special plate only made on Saturdays called BOIL UP and it looked great... maybe because I saw the Pig's Tail and drooled over it to the point that Doris surprised me with one!!! Only wish I took a photo of it to share with everyone!!!Check out the photos of the Plate I had and the inside of the diner!

If you can't get to the little boot right outside Brody's on Regent Street this is by far, hands down the best place to get your authentic Belizean breakfast. Miss Doris and the other young lady are very warm and welcoming. Remember always keep your hands in the Hands of the Lord. Never let go. ??? ??

Excellent authentic Belizean food!! Fry jack and beans are the best!!

OX Tails were dry, old and had no flavor. Food quality is going down just like Belizean Paradise on La Brea. Never going there again.

Been going here over 30 yrs still the best place for belizean breakfast cuisine 2 fry jack and beans for $4 is gd and the fry jack are huge

last night was the first time we came to that good restaurant. But It is no doubt not the last time. We enjoyed the evening a lot with the generous service, with the magnificent cooking and fine drinks and with the modest pay. We will no doubt go back there in a short time.
