I have loved this place since I was a kid. Everyone is so nice and Papa C is still there with a huge smile and always wanting to make sure his customers are happy! Huge portions of delicious food. I Love the gigantes!! My favorite. Go!! And check the summer schedule for music and dancing. A great family night out.
The food is good, the staff is friendly, but the restaurant itself seems a bit utilitarian; things like the cold fluorescent lighting could improve the mood, but I would like to emphasize how good the food was; I tried their meat moussaka, and it was heavenly; the pita was warm and so delicious especially with the hummus. I would go back to try their other menu items.
They sell mastiha liqueur! Try it with it tonic water (I call it the M&T). And the fish fillet gyro was delicious. Cristo is an amazing guy, super nice. And Wendy was very helpful and friendly. I plan to return.
Was in LA going towards the Hollywood Bowl and knew I was in for a treat. Tried the Fresh File Sole Sandwich on Pita Bread with a side of Greek Seasoned Fries. Best Fish Entree in awhile. Took some Baklava and cookies home for the week. All items were made fresh in house. Will be returning soon.
The food is amazing .. You can go wrong with any dish. We got the lamb , chicken and steak kabobs.. salads , what every you choose you will tasty home made delicious food . . Make sure to bring home some tested from the the other counter spanakopita baklava, cheeses .. I wish it was closer to my house
Food is gross, pre-cooked, stale. Staff openly tried to shame me into paying 15-30% tip on carry out food, and when I did not leave them a tip for doing nothing, gave me inedible food. Most of the food had to be thrown out. My photos are on Yelp and are hard to miss. This just happened yesterday. Then they charged me a $3 unauthorized tip anyway!!! Shameless fast food type workers, who act like aggressive beggars in a third world country! I paid nearly $200 for food and groceries and was trolled for tips everywhere! At every counter! Luckily I don't embarrass easily and can save others who might feel stuck into paying ridiculous gratuities. Do not believe the compensated "Yelp Elite 2022" reviews. Those people leave dishonest reviews for getting "perks" of some type from Yelp and the restaurant. Pathetic! Save your money and go somewhere else. Even the pre-packaged cookies were disgusting.
I ordered the charbroiled chicken, which came with potatoes and slaw. It's the only time I've reached for soggy fries. The sauce pours from the chicken onto the fries, resulting in a delectable starchy beauty. Take it upon yourself to visit if you haven't already.
I ordered the Lamb and Meat Gyro, baba ganoush, and honey puffs and it was all delicious. 5 stars on the Gyro. The meat is fresh and full of flavor. The ganoush is really good. The puffs are okay but theyre not bad neither. The place is also a deli so there is a wide selection of meats, cheeses and they also sell treats and goodies. Give this place a try if you are looking for a real Gyro sandwich.
What can I say the food the service everything went above and beyond in every possible way ???I was craving something good and I have to say this went above and beyond my expectations. Every single person working here was above and beyond friendly they all helped us. They are one of the best gyros places in here, they have quality meat, quality fries. With excellent taste. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes to eat gyros!
