Spanish Tapas/Small Plates

Worth every penny for every last morsel! Will definitely be back. Thank you and special shout-out to the sous chef, Daniel, for making our experience so amazing and recommending dishes I would usually shy away from. All staff were spectacular and they have a great rapport with one another that spills into their service.

Super small portions. Sad paella- overpriced for what you get. Better to stick to gin and tonics and sharing a tapas.

This was a fabulous dinner! There were 5 of us so we tried many plates. The Spanish octopus, Mariscos paella and squid ink pasta with calamari and clams were all outstanding! Highly recommend Otono!

Food and service was great! We accidentally ordered the wrong dish (very similar names on the menu) and only realized it when we received it. Our server offered to comp the wrong dish we ordered and placed a new order for the one we wanted.

I was overjoyed to come across a Spanish restaurant. Celiac disease requires that all the food I consume is gluten free (staff was able to assist with ordering) and I prefer to eat plant based and/or pescatarian as well. We ordered the Beets and Berries, Braised Spanish octopus, and the Paella Primavera. Every dish was delicious, however the absolute star above all else was the Paella. The crispy bits of caramelized rice, the creamy beans and the herbaceous flavor of the radish and salsa verde made for a most enjoyable and satisfying experience. The reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 is because of there was a mix up that resulted in receiving our paella first and then a long wait for the other two dishes to trickle in very slowly. It wasn't a problem that the dining experience took so long as much as the order in which we received our food was a bit awkward. While we received verbal apologies from the staff, I felt that our table was somewhat neglected as the service seemed far more attentive at other tables. Overall, the meal was delicious enough to bring me back for another try!

My friend and I were going there on a Monday. Hostess was nice and so was the waiter until our food … it took forever to arrive (we ordered 6 plates) but what was odd was other tables being served before us. We got the small plates first, but like that other review, it would take 10-20 minutes. Then, no dishes served for a good 30 minutes. Finally the hostess asked us what we ordered. We told her, the octopus and the paella. Our octopus is served 3 minutes after and warm almost cold. At this point it makes no sense to wait for our food. So we cancelled the paella. The two rating is more how the waiter literally berated us in the most passive aggressive way. He said paellas take 1 hour to cook (i said only one item on the menu indicated that). And that it was almost ready. We needed to go and literally saw 3 tables that got seated after us leave before us!!We get people make mistakes but shifting the blame to us and not even recognizing the mistake somewhere.Although the food we got was good, the entire experience was not good. I tried talking to a manager or the owner to alert them of the experience (I hate writing and reviews without giving a restaurant a chance), but apparently no one was available. If the owner is reading this I’m happy to put this review down. I just want to be listened.

Service was below average and food was average. We had one server to begin with who left mid shift because it was slow for the night. He did not properly pass on our orders to our new server nor did he tell us he was leaving. The wait for the food was surprisingly long. We ordered the quesos, pan con tomate, churros de patatas bravas, beats + berries, primavera paella, and vaca vieja. The quesos was just a couple of cheeses with bread and honey. Definitely not worth the money.Pan con tomate was incredible. Highly recommend this item.Churros were unique but not mindblowing. They were like fancy fries.Beets + Berries was unique but small portioned and one noted.Paella was good and so was the steak but neither were extraordinary.Overall if you love Spanish food you should check out this place. Personally I am glad I experienced this restaurant but am unlikely to come back.

Sometimes a restaurant does everything just right...That is Otono. Engaged servers, amazing menu, great drink selections. And the food is brilliant! I look forward to visiting again. I'm dreaming now of those sea scallops!

Not only is the food really good but the servers are awesome. They're very knowledgeable about the menu and aren't pushy with anything. I think the cocktail program could improve but they have great wine/sangria. Just get the rice paella and stop thinking about it. Make sure it's the mariscos!

Siesta Hour happy hour is back, currently 4:30 to 6:30 at the bar and patio. Enjoy a Spanish G&T with tasty tapas, like pan con tomate and marinated olives.
