I've been coming to this restaurant since I was a child, 30 yrs. The food is consistently fantastic. The staff is friendly and the service is excellent.
Food was not bad (not great) but service left something to be desired. The waitress served our miso soup without spoons and never came to check on things, so there wasn't an opportunity to ask for spoons. My chicken teriyaki was decent. My wife and daughter had the pork cutlets, which they enjoyed. Overall, food was fine but atmosphere and service could have been much better.
Everything was perfect! I had the shrimp tempura with tempura veggies on rice. It was perfect! Thank you for such a great meal!

Food is good, fresh, n affordable.Food came pretty fast also.Its their 50 anniversary, n we got 2 free tea cups.
Service was fast, food was great our server even helped take a picture of our family we came here after a movie and by coincidence it was their 50 year anniversary and we received complementry tea cups. Definetly a awesome place to have dinner with the fam. Congrats on 50 years in the buisness.
Little Tokyo has become a DTLA hot spot and OOmasa is right in the center of all the action. OOmasa is a great place to take care of that craving for Japanese food.
Took my two friends ro dinner this past Saturday night. Sushi was phenomenal. Every piece was so fresh and tasteful. Oomasa is my go to sushi bar. The best in socal!
Every time my family visits California, we always make sure to go to Ōōmasa. It's been a tradition since I was a kid. We love the bento boxes!
Average Japanese food. Not great, not bad, just the kind of thing you would find at any Japanese take out.
