Beds - comfortable, bath - clean but dark and no exhaust fan, room seating- one chair not comfortable, cleanliness- you have to ask for the room to be made up daily which was not shared at checkin. Outside- homeless everywhere. Restaurants- very pricey and food was barely average.
We stayed at the Omni during our last visit to LA and it was between this hotel and the Westin Bonaventure. I've stayed at the Westin before so we tried the Omni. I have to say I much prefer the Westin Bonaventure. We stayed for 3 nights but were out of the hotel quite a bit so it was a real inconvenience with valet parking and the hotel seems to close everything quite early. the only thing thats open later is the subway across the street. The rooms were clean but small and seemed dated as compared to other hotels we stayed in LA. Service was good but again we didnt get to use the facilities as everything was closed every time we came back.
I travel a lot and this is one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had. The staff is so friendly; everyone I interacted with seemed to be genuinely happy and it’s good feelings all around. Every question I asked was met with a “yes, absolutely” and a smile. We arrived a little early, could we check in? Yes. We wanted to keep our car and bags there while we explored the city before we left but had already checked out. No problem! They stored everything until the evening. At breakfast I said I would pick off my my partners plate, they split the order and added an extra egg without us asking instead. Thirsty? Bottled water is waiting for you and free and always available at the front desk if you would like more. They offer a free car service within 3 miles, give drink vouchers for the restaurant (which serves lovely food) and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Didn’t get woken up by thin walls…check out is noon. I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel and that’s rare. Awesome place. I wish every hotel was like this. We decided that this is the hotel chain we will stay in whenever we have the chance.
We had an excellent stay at the Omni. Service was outstanding from all employees. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Excellent location if you want to be near the financial district. I’d definitely stay here again if I come back to this area.
I would give it a 6 stars if it's not because of the pool. It called a resort but the pool is a 3 lanes pool. That was disappointing!! ?Other than that, EVERYTHING was great! I mean their services are so warm that I feel I'm at a friend's house! The restaurant has delicious food. I mean...come on...how many restaurants will make hot chocolate with milk these days???
My wife and I stayed one night at this Hotel and everything was up to part. The rooms were clean and view were amazing. From the Valet, Front Desk, and Housekeeping Services, everyone was very helpful and responded to our needs immediately. Big Kuddos to Front Desk Lauranne. She was very helpful and keep a smile on my face and wife. Her services went above and beyond. We highly recommend this [email protected]
It’s an okay hotel. I don’t object to its pricing, if I did I would know that upfront and made that decision prior to reservations. The people are nice, kinda okay, nothing special, useful. The hotel is in a nice location blocks away from The Board, MOCA, Disney Center, Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, etc. But the food services are average so we eat out. It’s also a funny thing that to use the TV for, say, Netflix, Prime Video or whatever streaming service you have to go through so many hoops it’s ridiculous. We travel all over … you know, the world and no where is it more difficult to sign in to your stupid Netflix, et.al accounts than at the Omni, LA. I WOULD NOT STAY HERE AGAIN. Just saying.

The hotel is solid in a good location, no specific complaints, just feels like it is aging. Carpets in rooms, small musty smell (in one it was large but they accommodated a move), gym a bit tight with more than a few people but serviceable. Shower water pressure modest at best
I’m not much for super fancy hotels, but this place is literally walking distance to my firm’s LA office. I was worried that I would feel out of place when I saw all of the people anxiously waiting for our arrival at the front doors. But, most folks seem pretty chill and have been quite nice, not stuffy. My room is very nice; large king size bed with adequate pillows, tub and shower, nice bathroom and a small sitting area (along with a desk). The Noe restaurant is on the upper end of fancy (cloth rolled napkins, glasses replaced for refills instead of just pouring more water/tea) but I didn’t feel out of place. Food came out quickly, constant attention, and plenty of drinks. Prices were pretty high to me, but this was my first meal in LA in years so my basis may be off a bit. Wouldn’t likely be my first choice for a hotel in the city. But if I’m here again for work or at least specifically in this area, I’d gladly stay again. :)
