Wow. The pho here was one of the best pho I’ve ever tasted. I highly recommend tai (the one with filet mignon), it was just perfect!! The beef was thinly sliced and super tender, the rice noodle was soft and melted in your mouth. I look forward to trying more things here!

EXCELLENT FOOD - GREAT CATERING!Nong La has been one of my family’s favorite restaurants for years now. The pho always hits the spot, the aroma of the broth alone is so comforting. A pork banh mi is the ideal lunch (the bread is the right amount of crispy and the sandwich is packed with great flavor and texture) and the spring rolls (crispy spring roll you wrap in lettuce, mint, and pickled veg) are a fun and delicious appetizer (or a meal for one if you’re feeling indulgent).Nong La ALSO does catering. I’ve arranged a number of fantastic work lunches and my co-workers are all so impressed with the choice of individually wrapped banh mi, fresh rolls, and spring rolls after years of sad boxed lunches. It’s actually one of the most most affordable catering options I’ve found in LA!

This place is not good. I had the pork sandwich. The french bread was tough. The spring rolls were so bad too. I guess I got spoiled from living in the SGV with tons of great Vietnamese restaurants. But also have to say that one of the male waiters needs to be retrained. His customer service skills are so bad. You can see the attitude on his face.

The pho Tai (fillet mignon) is savory and the meat is sooo tender. The banh mi sandwich is also good, not too saucy/ juicy, but we like it refreshing! The portion of food is not crazily large, but overall- tasty and not greasy at all. And the service is also very good!!!

Sandwich is pricy, but really yummy. Will get it next time when I crave for Vietnamese sandwich.05102022 Update. Ordered it again. Sandwich without mayo is a little too dry. I took down one star because the bean sprouts came with the pho is not fresh.

Questionably authentic. My mom was complaining, and I honestly didn't expect the staff to pronounce the menu items worse than me when I only know around 10 words of the whole Vietnamese language. Also there was not a lot of noodles in the Bun and Pho. The food was prepared fast though.

Huge portion sizes, but great food.

Awesome. Bhan Mi is perfect with crusty french bread and Pho is delicious. Condiments very fresh with chili having perfect heat.

Terrible Customer Service Experience at the La Brea location. I ordered dinner last night via DoorDash, and they gave the DoorDash driver the wrong food. I was really craving the chicken/cabbage salad, so tonight I tried again, and I ordered for pick-up not wanting to risk another screw up. When I placed the order it sounded like she said chicken Pho, so I corrected her she said yeah yeah. When I got there to pick up the bill seemed expensive so I asked her, and she said yeah the prices went up. I confirmed with her again two chicken salads (plus a bunch of other stuff). And she said yeah. I get home and of course it is two chicken pho -- the wrong food two nights in a row. When I called to ask for a refund she said I had to drive back in person and she cannot do a refund over the phone. Then she took my number and said she'd call me back, and then hung up on me. Now when I tried to call back, it appears she blocked my number -- I have tried calling a number of times and the call will not go through. Too bad, because the food was good. But this was a very frustrating experience, and her response was to be dismissive and unhelpful. She didn't even say she was sorry. Adios Nong La. I won't be back.

Dined here last night with the family. Service was great. Ordered a dac biet and enjoyed it. It was savory. The thing I disliked the most was the noodle type and quantity. I didn't know it was the thin ribbon noodles. I prefer the stick noodle. Also, the amount of noodle in the dac biet was meager to say the least. I was still hungry after my bowl. The saving grace was the egg rolls.
