OMG! Best bagels in Los Angeles. I like The Evening Whole Wealth, Everything Jalapeno and Cheeze and The Potato Salad.
bagels are delicious but they almost always ring it up wrong on the register or forget an item or two. Not entirely their fault, it does get busy, but the person taking the order often shouts the orders to the person to ring up instead of handing him the paper check. Anyways…
Good bagel ? all fresh
This place is the real deal. Everyone who was in there when I was seemed to be a regular (aka you know it’s good). Staff is super friendly! I got a BLT with turkey and avocado. It came with a bag of chips. I ate every single bite. 10/10.
They're true to name from service to product. The bagels are true to the NY taste and consistency. A great variety of cream cheeses, deli sandwiches lox and white fish too.**Bacon egg and cheese on an everything toasted salt pepper ketchup
Definitely my favorite local bagel shop. The salt or everything bagel with egg, cheese, and avocado with BBQ chips = HEAVEN ♥️
Ever since I tried bagels in NYC, I'm super picky. I have yet to find a place in LA that compares. Tried the plain, everything, and cinnamon raisin bagels. All were just ok, definitely nothing like NY bagels, sorry. Service was friendly.
Great food, friendly service, tasty bagels. Good deal for bagel sandwich, coffee, and a hash brown. Got the pastrami bagel sandwich they took the time to heat up the pastrami, which was delicious.
It was a pleasure meeting the man behind the magic - Frank! He was so nice and welcoming. I had a slice of sicilian cheese pizza but got lucky that some other people ordered the famed double pizza! We got a good shot of it; can't wait to go back again.
Plan on spending some time here. The bagels are mediocre at best (there's a better bagel store right down the street), but most importantly, I don't think I've ever gotten out of here in under 15 minutes, even when all I am getting is a couple of bagels. The way things are set up, there is only one line, so you will wait while somebody buys bagels for the neighborhood. Only one person is authorized to use the register, so forget getting checked out by someone else. Avoid it.
