This is a somewhat small place, it's not fancy, but it is clean and the food was pretty delicious. The price for the food was fair, and the portion size was pretty large. We had enough from each entree to take home to have as another meal later. And the best part was the staff. They were extremely friendly and took great care of us. I would definitely recommend this place.
There was a long piece of hair (I have short hair so certainly not mine) in my pick up meal so quickly lost my appetiteand half of the meat was unchewable but food didn't taste that bad, though.
The servers were super efficient and professional. How did two people handle the whole front house? Wow we were impressed. Delicious too. Five stars.
Very Nice staff! Lovely people ❤️Food wise - I really liked the Mongolian beef. It wasan interesting herbal version I've never had definitely a new flavor. The fried orange chicken ($15) was tasty, but there were so many small bits of just fried oil covered in sauce at the end that you realize you're not eating chicken anymore, just oil. Not very nutritious.Good overall!
I've been looking for a cheap-eat Chinese restaurant in West LA. And I'm glad to say that this is it. My friends and I went for the lunch special. The whole fried fish (dou ban yu) in the photo was so worth it. Only $9.15 for the entire fish! I'd say that's a pretty good deal.We also preferred sweet and sour pork which was part of the lunch special too. And we also preferred honey walnut shrimp (not on lunch special). For the lunch special, they also give you an egg roll, rice, and soup on the side too. In the end, my friends and I (three of us total) only spent $14 each. Looking forward to coming back again!
Love this place. Have been going here for years. Fortunately even during this pandemic their restaurant is large enough to be able to dine in and social distance. However I believe that take out and delivery service is the largest part of their business. Excellent service, excellent food. Real homestyle Chinese food.
I rather dine in but this one time I went ahead and took it home Never Again it was the worse Hawaiian mix I ever tasted it was over cooked it was dry like board I asked for two scoops of steam rice and I got one scoop of macaroni salad and one scoop of steamed rice they don't serve the small bowl of soup included in the daily menu But if anyone is willing to pay for soup to go oh yeah they do serve soup to go. So I was disappointed about that It's either gonna be a dine in or never going back. ?
Love the Kung Pao, Crispy noodles, and egg roll is the best. The staff is very friendly. When I think of Chinese food this is my go to place. Head over there right now
Great food. Great service. Very authentic.
This place is awesome, I've been here 5-6 times and it's been fantastic every single time. A classic old school, affordable Chinese place with a million options all between 9-16 dollars. The dinner specials give you a crazy amount of appetizers and food; I always end up with two full meals and I have a big appetite. It can be a bit chilly so bring a jacket in the winter if you tend to get cold (they leave the front door open for air circulation). It seems like a lot of their business is takeout (which I've done and it's good!), but I recommend coming in and sitting down, you only get the soup with the lunch/dinner special if you dine in.Photo is the honey walnut prawns for me and the lunch special sweet and sour chicken for my girlfriend. Delicious as always!
