When I want an special boutique ice cream experience I go to N’ice Cream in Playa Vista. They make special flavors that are really original like Horchata and Taro. I had the Horchata with fresh pineapple, shredded coconut and white chocolate chips. HEAVENLY!!! The gal at the counter greeted me with a smile and helped me with suggesting what toppings would go well with the Horchata flavor. I will come back again and again for this tasty treat!
I was here yesterday and paid nearly $8 with tax for a cone with 2 toppings (I've eaten about half in the photo). Honestly, I wasn't blown away and would choose Coldstone over this place any day. Each topping was $0.69 - some might have been more, but these were the "basic" ones.It was just okay. First - the menu and set up is slightly confusing if you've never been. I was a little overwhelmed with choices and found it much easier to order on the little kiosk than from the combination of a series of Gelato flavors in picture frames (?) on the walls and 2 TV screens - one with toppings and one with serving possibilities (cups, tacos, milkshakes, cookie sundaes). I promise I'm not dumb, but aesthetically it was a mess to figure out exactly all the options and combinations upon first walking in (not to mention many of the prices) so minus a star there. The kiosk on the other hand was super neat, had pictures of most things, and has a card slot built in so you can create your own dessert without hemming and hawing at the counter.Second - the Gelato itself was pretty good, I think my salted caramel flavor was overpowered by my toppings choices (brownie bites and Nutella), but the cold brew flavor was delicious. The brownie bites were also particularly satisfying (even my husband agreed) and I feel like sometimes the brownie at ice cream places can be a let down so good going there.Third - the staff was nice, efficient, and knowledgeable (I overhead a lady asking about egg content for allergies and the man at the counter was ready and eager to inform!)All in all I wouldn't go out of my way to go back because it's pricey and was good, not super fantastic or anything, but when I'm in this shopping center again I'd like to go back and at least try the Taro flavor with some milder toppings (they have some kind of Boba balls that looked interesting!)The color changing spoon was a fun surprise!I waffled between 3 and 4 stars, let's call it 3.5, but round up for the algorithm.
Would go again / price = below average / speed = fast / service = average / cleanliness = above averageOrdered the strawberry cheesecake milkshake. Cool spot in a busy plaza called Runway with many other retail shops. To be fair, the star rating may change if I visit again and order the ice cream taco, frozen yogurt, or gelato. Generally, milkshakes are tough to be unique which is why I rated as such. It was not anything special from decent ice cream shops. I did like how it was not too over sweet as many strawberry cheesecake items are. Also, I was not a fan of the cheesecake. They should consider changing vendors. I did appreciate the 20% off from the Yelp check-in. This is why it is always good to do so.Interior has a very BlackPink ice cream song shop vibe. Colorful and chic vibe. Parking is ample given being a popular plaza.
Loving our new Nice Cream hats for our employees. Customers enquiring to buy some. Need to put in a bigger order. Product is made in a very good quality.
It ice cream,it tase fantastic but not the mona lisa! Lol A long line tho!I ordered a half scope of honey lavender , roasted strawberries and white chocolate and salt caramel with an extra cone! A dream come true
Hands down the best Ice cream Have to try their honey lavender!Only down side is that parking is a problem. You will have to park on the street or park at a valet near by.
Delicious variety flavors and toppings.
Fun “OFF THE MENU” deal: PopTart ice cream sandwich!
Good selection of flavors.
Good selection of flavors, but not a huge number. Still, I found what I wanted and enjoyed it. Reasonably priced, too.
