Food was great ,service was excellent and their is plenty of seating . I got the Soul chicken spring rolls , the BBQ chicken , Oxtail tacos , greens and the Strawberry cake that I devoured within minutes. I will definitely be back

My first visit here was excellent. I believe it was back in 2018, the twins were extremely welcoming. We ordered the shrimp and grits, oxtail tacos, mac and cheese and other stuff. It was amazing , you guys had us as customers for life just off that first visit. I had recommended the spot to everyone I knew.Unfortunately the past couple times I’ve been here the service went down tremendously. The last time we had went the food was just as expected but we were basically invisible. It wasn’t busy at all. Everyone who had came after us got their food first. The waitress kept coming out to the guys next to us making eye contact and leaving. We didn’t get our appetizer or dessert. It’s okay to have a bad day once but when it’s a pattern I’m not okay with it. Sorry , I’m not coming back again.

No wait! Polite guys behind the counter. Food came out in a timely fashion. Oxtail tacos & jerk shrimp tacos were both delicious!!! The Tom Ford is so tasty! I’m a big water drinker so appreciate being served a carafe! I’m visiting from Michigan so I always search out chocolate owners restaurants and I was more than ecstatic about my experience! Especially being owned my a sista!

Chicken soul rolls and black rice were amazing. Customer service, excellent. Myles and Lavonce served us and were very professional. A bit under seasoned with some of the dishes for my taste. Atmosphere was community orientated.

The staff is friendly and all good looking!!!!

This is the kind of place I feel comfortable eating alone because it really feels like home at My 2 Cents. The food is delicious, the portions are sizable, and the menu has many vegan/veg friendly items.

3 words SHRIMP AND GRITS! They are delicately delicious yet full of flavor. The shrimp were cooked to perfection, the grits were creamy, soft and yummmy, can’t forget the broth it’s flavorful and rather delicate. Not greasy, not salty just clean and delicious. Comfort food at it’s finest. If your a spicy person you might want to kick it up with some hot sauce but that’s based on preference. I can’t wait to dig into my peach cobbler and pound cake. The staff was lovely and eager to please. I’ll definitely be back to try your oxtail tacos if I can’t stop myself from ordering the shrimp and grits again. The Sunday brunch menu looks amazing too, I was told that your fried chicken and waffle are the best! Thanks for making delicious food. Love is Life ♥️

Modern, light twist on southern food. I had the Shrimp and Grits. My friend had the Snapper. We enjoyed our meals and the biscuits with honey butter. The desserts are yummy too! Several celebrities were there on the day we visited. It's very laid back and the chef/owner came by for a chat.

Great establishment with a delicious authentic menu … when in LA this a MUST for dining

I'd love to rate this place a 5... I seen this place in LA unlisted...My Girlfriend and I were so excited to try this place..... SUPPORT BLACK OWN BUSINESS..... .. It was a hour drive from our home.... we pulled up lots of people dining outside a couple of people waiting we knew there would be a waiting list but what we didn't know is that the kitchen closes at 3pm????? The gentleman at the door didn't even say hello welcome he said KITCHEN IS CLOSE.????‍♀️.... my heart sank!! Super high expectations thrown out the window it would have been nice to see that on the website that way we would have known to come early!! I guess we'll try this place again and I can give it five stars. God willing
