Pargiyot plate is great, unlike the Shewarma plate that was a little disappointing, (very rich tasting for some odd reason).
Delicious, huge portions (so, order sparingly) you get a lot for the price in terms of pita bread, rice , pickled veggies and sauce so I typically go for the shawarma plate !It’s all outdoor seating and very relaxed vibe.
Lovely courtyard! Broccoli and brussel sprouts were great, and the falafel sandwich was warm and fluffy... Tasted like a warm hug in your mouth. A+
What a gem in West Adams. The food was BOMB.everything is super fresh and the ambiance is great. It was super busy when we went but were able to find a table. You order at the counter and they bring the food to you.We ordered a bunch of appetizers and I alsoOrdered the chicken shewarma plate which came with a side and pita. The pita was nice and fresh. Not sure if they’re made to order or not but tasted like they were just made. The flavors were fantastic and I can’t wait toGo back.
Food was great, nice open seating near warm heaters. Sumac fries could have been slightly more crisp. Pickle sides are to die for. Order the sumac fries well done. Now the cauliflower is served like I've never seen before where they give you two quarter wedges of a whole cauliflower not very well seasoned and a little oily. So buyer beware of what you're getting, sharing is also hard cause you have to break off from the core. The portions are huge and great value for the money. The brussel sprouts were probably the highlight of our meal though after getting halfway through it you have had enough. I could use kids portions. After climbing at Cliffs this is a great spot to eat.
Ohh it was soo good! Got kofte plate and really like it.Baklava could be much more better, i dont recommend that. So I give 3/5 for that
A simple menu where everything is worth having! Wraps are generous, and flavors pack a punch. The dips and sides are the perfect touch to mix things up. Save your stomach - this chaotic restaurant is worth the trip!
My family and I visited Mizlala twice during a recent stay in Los Angeles: once for lunch and once for drinks. For those who have not yet tried Mizlala, the restaurant’s best feature is the outdoor courtyard, with plenty of casual tables from two- to six-tops. The food we had included very good kefta pita and plates, a shewarma plate, and lentil soup, with great pickles on the side. The wines we ordered were reasonably priced, very good quality, and generous pours.
I love(d) Mizlala. Since we moved down the street 6 months ago, we’ve eaten or order from here at least 12 times. Unfortunately, the second to last time we ate here, I found a hair in my food. I love this place so I tried to let it go as a fluke. The next time we ate there, everything was fine. But last night we ate there again, and again, there was a hair in my food. Im gagging just writing this. This is not acceptable. Hair twice in the same person’s food makes me wonder how many other instances have there been. Yuck. I’m so upset to lose our neighborhood go-to spot but I gag just thinking about Mizlala now.
Amazing Mediterranean food. My friend said it smelled like his grandmother’s house. Portion sizes are big, meat is juicy, salad is fresh, hummus is rich. What’s not to love.Don’t sleep on the sides. Some of the best Brussels sprouts and broccoli I’ve had.
