English is not heard here and staff may or may not speak English however language is NOT a barrier. Menu for the most part is also not in English but this did not distract from my visit. This was my third visit and during my first two visits the food was fantastic. One dish I remember is the stuff peppers. Desert was also incredible. Definitely a place worth visiting. It was 7PM on a Saturday night with live entertainment !
Came here last minute and it was pretty dead around 2pm Wednesday. Got 3 pupusas cheese and Chicarron. Very good. Incant see why they have good rating. Nice big pupusas not too greasy fairly price. I'll come again. Looks like it's poppon at night. Cool little vibe, clean, and attentive. Recommend it. Parking kinda sucks.
The food is good, however service is lacking (for reference, it was only us and another small group seated at the restaurant, with people coming into pickup orders). Bottled drinks took a long time to arrive. Ordered a plate to share, but needed to make additional request for extra plate and silverware (they pretty much served one person, when two of use were seated). We finished our initial plate and waited another 10 minutes for pupusas to arrive. Paid bill and left, however, credit-card statement later shows an additional undisclosed charge over what the receipt shows when signing. Considering the reviews, we thought we picked a winner.
Just finished eating my To Go order and I do not regret it! I got 4 revueltas and 2 Super Pupusas. Both the Super Pupusas and the revueltas were good. I usually eat a lot and got full with 1 Super Pupusa and 2 revueltas. They gave us a big cup of the cortido and sauce. Its a small mom and pop shop. When I went to pick up, they had a guy “El Huracan?” who was singing Juan Gabriel type songs. Next time, im going to dine-in. Only weird thing is that my order came with a banana and an apple. It had to be a mistake unless its a cultural Salvadoran thing? Which I doubt. Overall, 9/10 and would recommend.
