Really good food and awesome service. The spicy chicken was really spicy!
Didn't disappoint. Wait seemed unnecessarily long. Plenty of empty tables, yet we had to wait 20 minutes. The annoying part, we had to use the app to get a table. There physically was a hostess right there and she said, we had to use the app?!!! That is such a wrong use of technology. The app didn't work, and only after showing her did she take my name to get a table. There was no body behind me, it wasn't that busy, so a disappoint in the use of technology.
Such a beautiful restaurant on the outside but the food was so bad. They charged us almost $20 for a stale fried rice with 4 pieces of shrimp that served 2 people. When they tell you its family style, your thinking big portions but no. Family style because you guys share the small portion they give you. The Mongolian beef was so salty. The dumpling was super spicy. We were so hungry and I thought it would be better than the mall food because there was a lot of people inside. Dont be fooled by the appearance on the outside. Do some research before you spend 75 on dinner. Panda express would have been much better.
The Pekin duck was delicious! I loved the little pancakes which are actually thin crepes to wrap them in. The oxtail soup was nice, light and delicate for this cold weather and the abundant garlic broccoli was great with the steamed rice. There was a very long wait, about an hour to get in on the day after Christmas for lunch. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. We were surrounded by many Asian families who were also thoroughly enjoying their meals. This is our third time!
The food at this restaurant is really good. It's very flavorful and more of northern China Manchuria Style. Service is good in the people here are very nice. I would definitely come back here again. There's plenty of parking at the Century City Plaza Mall.
It’s all right - changed a bit much, in my opinion, from the authentic Chinese taste. That said, still a good choice to sample some nice ducks.Drinks selection is limited; service is ok. Pretty far way from parking.
Very authentic Chinese food but also very pricey.Ordered 4 dishes totaling $100
Some of the best snow pea leaves we've had. The roast duck was very good, but not like Peeking Duck I've had in other places.Generally the seasoning is more subtle than many other Chinese restaurants--kind of like Florence seasoning vs Rome seasoning. We do not like the pork buns though
Delicious dumplings, good service, nice atmosphere. The place next door has love music while we were there, which made the patio dining that much more enjoyable.A little pricey, but there are reasonable items on the menu as well. Expect to pay at least $20-40 per person or more, depending on what you order.
We visited this restaurant for dinner on a Tuesday night, first time after the pandemic started. They were half empty, no wait was needed. We ordered a full roasted duck, one serving Dongpo pork belly, and dan dan noodles. I was disappointed by the duck served, as it was cold with not-so-crispy skin, and tasted weired, they didn't pre-process the meat properly to get rid of the 'smell' (腥味). The dan dan noodles was consistent with what I would expect, but the pork belly, I have to say, was a bit hard to chew since the lean portion was quite stiff and dry. Overall, it was not worth the >$100 price for two ppl. I liked this restaurant a lot pre-pandemic, not sure what happened, their food quality declined drastrically based on our experience last night. Hope they can get improved soon. Will try the east la one sometime to make sure it is just this one restaurant that is not doing so well.
