Went here with some friends for dinner. Didn't expecting much air to the lack of signage not thought why not.Inside decor is sparse but clean and well maintained. There were only 2 people working that night but there was no lengthy wait for service. The tofu appetizer is the start. Really. Get at least one per person. My kids were fighting over the last piece. Lol. The garlic parmesan fries were also a great hit and should be another must have. The burgers there were pretty good as well as their garlic noodles. The pho had a nice delicate flavor with a bit of depth to it that was appreciated. They are known for their fried chicken and it was good but not spectacular to me.I will definitely be going back here in the future and is a great addition to the restaurants near me
Amazing Asian dinner in a strip mall setting... A perfect surprise! The ambiance is modern, industrial, yet really warm and inviting to be in.The food is greasy and full of flavor! I ordered the "Mad for Garlic" with filet mignon beef and my partner got Mee Goreng noodles.Be warned, they're credit card only and don't accept cash. They're perfect for a quick last minute dinner out.
Very delicious food and Chrysanthemum tea. I could not finish it all. It will be lunch for tomorrow. I had the spinach which was so tasty with a nice little kick. I also had the fried Tumeric chicken and the chicken noodles. Very filling and something I would reorder. The employees are very nice and we had pleasant conversations while I waited for my food. They are really efficient and quick and I appreciate their work ethic. Enjoy!
Mee and Greet is a neighborhood restaurant located in a strip mall in Palms. Their chef brings experience from cooking dishes from many Southeast Asian countries. Hainan Chicken and their Ma Jiang were my favorite dishes because the Hainan chicken is so tender and delicate. If you visit after work, make sure you try their Turmeric Fried Chicken Wings with a beer. You will be happy you did so.
Another great Asian Fusion restaurant (Taiwanese/ Thai/ Peruvian/ Indonesian) tucked in Palms. We ordered Turmeric Fry Chicken (5/10), Mad for Garlic Noodles (9/10), and Bo Luc Lac Saltado (7/10).The food is a bit on the salty side. Service is great and the food was cooked quickly. The restaurant has this new modern/ industrial style with a lot of lighting, but ironically, it's a little dimmed. It's got a cute ambiance for a simple casual date. It even has a bar with a decent liquor collection.Good amount of parking in front of the restaurant and a small lot behind. I thought it was slightly pricey, but they do have generous portion. Expect to pay $25-30 per person (without ordering drinks). Overall, it was good for what it is and I will be returning!
Had the mee goreng with tofu while husband got garlic noodles. Both were delicious and came out so quickly. Nice clean space right around the corner from where I live. Staff was very friendly!
I ordered the Bo Luc Lac Saltado (which is a Peruvian dish also known as Lomo Saltado). As a peruvian they did a really great job with this dish! Would absolutely recommend again, delicious! I also ordered the tofu which was just okay.
Nicely done Korean Fried Chicken dishes in a very plain wrap place with a bar and neighborhood Happy Hour crowd. Very expensive for small portions. Friendly service
Obsessed with this place! Almost missed it because of how cute and unassuming it is--but wow I was blown away with all the dishes. The Tofu Family Style was a powerhouse of flavor--so simple, but so delicious! I ordered the Hainan Chicken Rice, and this was one of the BEST Hainan Chicken Rices I've had in LA, and even outside of South East Asia. They even serve it with a side of chicken broth like they do in Singapore--which made me feel so warm and nostalgic! We also ordered the Mad for Garlic noodles--SO Flavorful. Definitely bookmarked as one of my favorite spots in LA!
Outstanding local spot for a great meal lunch or dinner. They have both classic and fusion style dishes and the menu is varied enough that if you come with a group, everyone in the party can find something they enjoy. The staff are friendly and cheerful and they are quick with the food orders. Didn't have to wait much at all. and piping hot! Delicious. =)
