There is a $1 parking lot down the block. The kimchi is sooo garlicky and delicious! I know a lot of people can finish a bowl of kalguksu by themselves, but if you pair with an order of mandu, it’s a perfect size for sharing.

These are some of the most flavorful pork dumplings I've ever had. I ordered to go and didn't know it came with kimchi. They are juicy and the dough is perfect... alot of green onion. . Not too salty, and very juicy! Due to food allergies and being on the go- i couldn't really order anything else off the menu, and couldnt have this amazing looking kimchi.10 dumplings for 15.99. A little high but i know dumplings are labor intensive. Would i go back and order dumplings again? Yeah, but not on the regular. Im sure if i could have a soup, i would be a regular, the soups look awesome.

Wasn't super excited to come and try a hot dog with cheese on top lol but this really exceeded my expectations. I had the Green Dog on lobster roll and the dirty fries Definitely coming back to try the rest.

Went here after seeing the reviews. I actually give this place a 3.5 stars, but rounded up because I like to help restaurants vs bring them down with the tough environment due to Covid. Noodles were not the traditional hand cut that I’m use to. True hand cut should not be uniform and thickness should vary. These were over cooked and seemed like very basic store bought. I’m sure it’s homemade and done through a machine though. My favorite for Kalgooksu is Hangari, just my opinion. Overall the place is clean, flavor and noodle texture were just OK. Dumplings were good.

ATTN ALL GARLIC LOVERS:If you love the intense flavors of garlic as much as I do, you're going to love this noodle joint. As soon as you sit down, a server will bring you two kinds of kimchi. For the time being, ignore the white colored kimchi and focus on the red one, because this is where happiness is stored. This red kimchi has so much garlic, so much flavor, that I couldn't help but smile with each bite. I had already finished a serving king kimchi by the time our food had come out, but it's a good thing that they offer refills. Enough about the kimchi though. The chicken kalguksu is always solid and is definitely one of the best in Ktown. It's unique in that the broth is chicken based, but there are no pieces of chicken in it. Instead, it comes with a few mini dumplings and ground pork, but despite this, I would prefer this dish over the kalguksu at Hangari. The steamed dumplings are also a must have. The wrapping is extremely thin and each dumpling is STUFFED with fillings. It is best eaten while still hot and steaming. There is only street/metered parking. Parking shouldn't be difficult if you come around 6pm, but by the time 7 or 8pm rolls around, parking could get difficult.

It's good they check for vaccination cards! The price and quality are pretty good.

First of all there was like 1 person doing everything on the floor. There was no call button either. I had to wait server for 15 mins to place an order. I parked back area within same bldg but I was told to move the car out as that's not where I suppose to park. So I went to further outside parking and this Korean guy (parking attendees) asked me for a dollar. On my wait back he said I was gone for 4 hrs and tried to scam me. This loser was definitely little off on this head. He wanted more money but I had to argue that I was in there for 1 hr and not 4 hrs like he told me. Crazy.... he was in Lexus RX BTW watching K drama on his phone. I gave 2 star because food is pretty decent and kimchi goes well with the soup. I still wouldn't come back with overall experience.

The food was amazing, staff very friendlyWe had the chicken soup.and dumplings . Do yummy ??

Delicious!!! My friends and I stopped by around 3pm, and the restaurant was not crowded. We were seated right away, and the server brought out kimchi as an appetizer. Our food arrived super fast, and everything was perfect. We even asked the server if we could have our food "just a little spicy", (because we have sad white-girl taste buds :P haha ) and the food was just the right amount of spicy. It made my eyes water, but it hurt so good! We ordered the dumplings to share, I got the bibimbap rice bowl, and my friends got the rice cake noodles.Clean interior and the bathrooms were clean too. 5 stars!

This restaurant is located in the heart of Koreatown off of Wilshire. There's plenty of parking either on the street or nearby parking lots. It's a classic traditional noodle restaurant. It's the comfort food of the Korean culture. It's so good and with very large portions. The kimchi and other side dishes are so fresh and good. A definite place to eat if you really want to get the true flavor of Korean comfort food.
