I ate here with my bf today We had the octopus salad for an appetizer, which was the best part of the meal. I had the branzino, cooked well but nothing special. Also they only gave me 3 peices of asparagus (a little chummy for a $40 entree) my bf enjoyed his steak and the portions for his meal were fair. The wine was awful, like it was left out too long but my biggest issue is I feel like the servers or hostess should disclose that there is a mandatory 20% service fee. This is for all parties even a party of one. They only show your receipt with your itemized bill and then give you a receipt to sign and tip on top. It is easy to not read the full itemized bill and tip on top of the 20%. “Service fee “ . More transparency regarding this practice would make me more inclined to return.

The food is AMAZING, one of my favorites in the city. My issue was a mandatory 20% Service Charge that is not shown on the bill you sign. I ate there by myself and later noticed a 20% Service Fee added to the itemized receipt. I can understand if it's a party of 6 or more, but a single, sitting at the bar... I noticed this on another bill as well. I do not mind the charge but not being completely transparent and upfront with it is what bothers me. When you add a Tip on top of that - I'm paying an extra $30 dollars on a $50 bill.

Sunday was my first time dining for dinner and we all had a great experience. French cuisine is in my top three favorites so I try to go to every single one all over Los Angeles and this is definitely one of the better ones I’ve been to, and I have already been to over 15. Our server Zeke was very polite and attentive. The vibe on the inside is a mix between a traditional French bistro and a casual cocktail bar. The east side of the restaurant is the whole bar whereas the west side is where all the tables are, as well as outside seating. For my starter I chose the Steak Tartare and it was very good. I wish there was more bread on the side to spread but the taste and quality of the meat was perfect. For my entrée I chose the grilled Branzino and was very impressed. It was two large pieces with smooth mashed potatoes and herb roasted asparagus as sides. I have been having too many desserts recently so I skipped the option last night but they had chocolate soufflé and a toffee date cake on their menu that I plan to get in the future. All around a good experience and someplace I would return. The pricing is fair and if you’re a fan of French bistros you will like this one as well. Parking is also very easy depending on the day and time but I had absolutely no trouble for my 7PM reservation.

Me and my friends were so excited to try this restaurant but we were faced with a very unwelcoming vibe from the servers as soon as we got there. They were so rude for no reason, we asked to sit in a different table for three and they gave me a sarcastic remark about the fact that we already had a table and refused to even acknowledge us.We finally switched when we asked somebody else for assistance and they came to clean our new table but the two male waiters had such. a horrible attitude and made many sarcastic remarks, we just tried to laugh it off but it was very uncomfortable. Our server also rolled his eyes at us when we asked for 5 more minutes to order our drinks. We felt so uncomfortable that we paid for our sparkling water and left to go to a different restaurant! Definitely never coming back and telling everybody on Instagram about my experience so they don’t go either… The worst experience I've had in LA..

love love love this place! chill vibes. the food is delicious. it’s a go to place for me always. service is excellent.

Absolutely delicious food and great wine. But it is quite a pretentious and stuck up atmosphere with terrible music played from a really bad tin sounding speaker that hurt your ears.

Great restaurant with a really nice relaxed vibe. The food was amazing, the spicy Rigatoni alla vodka was probably some of the best pasta I’ve had. The only downside is that they only serve wine and beer and no cocktails.

Super low key, and excellent food. White anchovies on toast were spectacular and the roast chicken is great. Only complaint is that some of the menu feels a tiny bit overpriced, but otherwise a fantastic meal, lots of wonderful wines by the glass too.

Great local vibe. Good eats and outstanding wine list. Thank you Julie for taking good care of us!

Had some issues getting a table even though we had a reservation. Once we were seated it was pure pleasure. Every appetizer was delicious and out mains Excellent as well. I particularly enjoyed the caesar. Be sure to let them know you want an indoor table when you book if you do not enjoy the street…
