This restaurant never dissappoints! The prosciutto and figs, the gnocchi, the NY and the stuffed veal chop were all fantastic! The wait staff is always extremely helpful and friendly. We will be back.
The restaurant had a nice atmosphere. The food was delicious and the service was exceptional. We met the owner and he was very friendly. I would highly recommend this restaurant. We went there after seeing a show at the Pantages. It was a nice place to get away from the crowds.
Food and service is always amazing! Sam and Mario are the best!
Another wonderful meal at Marino. The seasonal menu offerings are excellent. We shared Burrata and peaches for an appetizer and peach streusel pie for dessert. The halibut was cooked perfectly and the pasta is always delicious. They are open again for outdoor dining again as an option and both outdoor and indoor are enjoyable but we like the indoor ambience, with the booths and white tablecloths, the best.
Great film "The Big Night" speaks to what quality dining is all about. Marino keeps the family tradition of Papa alive with an excellent dining experience
Returned to our neighborhood favorite after a long absence and was not disappointed. Everything about Marino was sublime. The menu had all the old favorites and some fun new dishes. We ordered appetizers and mains (crispy duck, pollo vesuvio and both were perfect. I would highly recommend Marino Ristorante to anybody!
There is nothing I love more than taking friends to my all-time favorite restaurant for their first time and having them experience exactly what I see whenever I walk through the door -- a meal of exceptional food, service, and passion. That's Marino, in a nutshell, and it has been so for 40 years. It's genetic. The spirit of Mom and Dad waft over the place, the kitchen, the staff and the sons who have polished and evolved their crafts, and brought new life to the oldest of family traditions -- welcome your friends the way you would welcome your family to the table. There is none better, anywhere.
We love to come here for a special occasion; Sal and Mario are wonderful hosts, and it's a pleasure when Sal takes a look at your order, and says he can do better! - and he's right!
Marino is a true gem in terms of good Italian food in Los Angeles. I am an Italian born and raised and I know good food, Marino checks all the boxes: variety, traditional dishes, good service etc. For anyone who loves good Italian food Marino is an excellent choice, and the possibility of eating outdoors is very appealing.
