Fantastic farmers market! Great selection of vendors and farms. I like that I can go shopping for fresh produce and get breakfast/lunch in the same place. My friend and I both got vegetable dumplings and matcha boba teas from Kai Kai. We were able find a spot to sit at one of the many tables near the food vendors/trucks. In addition to wonderful produce the market has a great selection of breads & baked goods, and miscellaneous items such as tea, plant-based cheeses, juices, and many more. The later you go the smaller the selection may be at certain spots but vendors may also offer deals - bit of a gamble but I walked away with some good produce deals. Check it out!
A favorite farmers market. I always end up buying more than I intend. Not everyone is local unfortunately, but it's a large selection of mostly similar booths. Some vegan and vegitarian food booths, a nice food court. We usually get breakfast at one of the booths (usually Lorrents breakfast croissant), but sometimes we hit up the french restraunt that's also right there on the block if we want better seating and some peace.
The Mar Vista Farmers' Market is a great time. The streets are closed off, but you will find parking and not have to walk more than a block to get to it. It is large, but not so huge that you will not have the time or energy to go to 100s of booths. They just have the best of the best.It is a locals' Farmers' Market but tourists are greeted with smiles. We are a friendly bunch. It gets crowded but not so bad that you can't get to a booth you want and get waited on pretty fast. They have everything, from fresh fruits and vegetables to meats and treats. They sometimes have wine and they always have flowers. We love their ice cream booth from New Zealand, and this is not an easy ice cream to find. They also have clothes and assorted things for your home. The prices are reasonable and there are plenty of places to sit and take a break or eat what you just bought. It is assessable to all and if you are wheel chair bound, you will get through just fine, because we simply are not a rude crowd. Kids run and have fun and there is always something for kids to enjoy. We love this place. So go there.
Pretty good farmers market. Favorite one in Los Angeles so far after 20 years.
Fresh fresh fresh. Who wouldn't want to speak to the human making and growing what you eat! The friend with the arugula was my favorite! Thank you for listening to my rantings of burata and arugula. Lol. Cannot wait to go back.
One of the best farmer's markets I've seen. It's on the pricier side. Conveniently located. Limited parking at the adjacent post office.
I really like this farmer's market! Everything was all organic, and so the people around here unit of measurement really friendly. they have the best recent merchandise that unit of measurement new harvest, yet as spices and also the alternative herbs used for modification of state. i truly had a superb time strolling around here, and that i am sure that i am going to come back once someday to buy for a few additional. THANKS!
Incredible selection especially when you show up early on. The Chicken Guy and Machete Salsa are must-try vendors!
i really like to idea of buying local from local growers, and getting high quality produce and food, from farmers markets. thing is most of the time i'm intimated somehow ('cuz i grew up in LA going to only supermarkets) and i end up buying nothing. taking a stroll thru this one tho, i'm overwhelmed but in a good way. this is one of the kings of farmer's markets. there's a lot of great produce, good food vendors, more good stuff in the ferry plaza building, beautiful scenery, and great people watching
This is one of my favorite places to get my weekly groceries from! Plus they've got a vibrant hot food selection that has reappeared now that lockdowns are done! Venezuelan arepas, musubi, paella, yum yum yum! Plus with Weiser Farms, Tamai, Buy Ranch Direct and more, there's so much great produce available! There's no reason why you should be shopping at a super market if you live anywhere near this farmer's market! STOP paying for unripe produce to get shipped 1,000's of miles by brutal wholesalers ripping off farmers in other countries when you can direct your money towards the actual growers and get stuff that's tastier and better for you!
